Okay.. this is starting to piss me off.. sorry for the swearing.. i am very annoyed about RO..

firstly you have like 50 gazillion bots around prontera and every other town you go to spamming the same crap over and over again.. you reject them.. and then 10 minutes later.. another one pops up..

secondly.. all this d/c crap whilst vending.. look at prontera now.. its EMPTY due to this stupid lag..

thirdly.. what the hell is wrong with the servers? im trying to level my blacksmith and all i get is You Have Been Disconnected due to the shitty server time gap.. every f**king 5 minutes.. just look..!

fourthly.. prontera market is gone.. so where do you go? i think GEFFEN is the place.. but what the hell.. look at it.. the WHOLE place is packed full of shops.. im going to spend like hours searching through this crowded place..

Actually its easier imo when every shop is on the same screen. You don't need to walk halfway across the (2nd?) biggest town on RO to find everything.

i rather to a walk around pront.. because all the shops arent as crowded and for example.. loads of venders have their "trademark'd" spots.. eg.. Arthur Miller is always vending at that corner place.. AizPrincess/SnowPrincess or whatever is always vending next to the walls of s.pront.. saishu hane is always next to kafra at s.pront.. its so more convenient when everything is in pront.. its soo easy to access.. whereas people whos guild spots are in morroc who want to go to buy something have to travel to pront > geffen.. PRONTERA IS LIKE THE MOST CONVIENIENT PLACE FOR A MARKET TO BE HELD!!!

If you're dying during timegaps, then there are probably also connection problems on your end.

All the time gaps i've been getting are cause the server has locked up (which means the monsters are locked up as well)

^ this is a good example. (possibly unknown to you) There is a stealth'd stalker on your screen walking back to buff stop. I didn't have any lag, and was moments from running my priest over to heal you when you DC'd.

i'd say both your internet and gravity. The servers are being shitty, but I haven't died due to a time gap in months.

skype and msn might also be more tolerant of a little bit of latency than RO.

I would disagree with you there. I believe Biochemist-ness is correct. Every time gap I've received has locked up monsters as well and left me alive, even in a mob. Today I hit another time gap, except monsters and other people moved/talked and I couldn't respond. This I died. Difference here was that there's a storm outside and it has effected my net's stability.

To put it short, whether you're willing to admit to it or not it's also your net playing up. You're just mad you lost a few % and want to blame someone else for it instead of looking to your own end for the problem. I'm sorry, but Gravity can't fix your net issues.

My fiance uses MSN and every time our net craps out, his MSN is one of the last programs to recognize it.

Mine are starting to be less frequent.... I actually have NEVER got a gap out of P0rntera. It's the city that fucks me over. Especially when I want to vend.

Worst about this server freeze is that the karfa items/buffs time continue while it freeze but nothing else so basicly you loose nearly 30s of an insurance/bm etc with this.

You should just level somewhere else if you're getting that annoyed at Anubis. Everyone was complaining about time gapping in Pront and other places that they're leveling at.

But for me, all this time I was in ID3 and only time gapped once since Sunday (when double exp started). So I'm going to assume that only certain maps lag up or lock up and unfortunately for you, its Sphinx4

Hmm, this is making me kind of wonder. How full is iRO's prontera nowadays? On my server, payon is the packed city, full almost entirely on the bottom half. I suspect this to be because the kafra shop isn't far from the city center, and it's also where the enriched upgrading NPC is. The city is well-divided into a market area, a meeting area, a discussion area, and a party-searching area as well. I love it.

I like that system a lot actually. Too bad I can't test it because all of my slots are full. But aside from that the sleeper map on loki has never really had a good server and lagged before the time gap problem happened.
