Very nice bonus for people who did the quest and gravity gave ppl who weren't around for it a second chance to obtain it with the story telling quest.

+5 attack is a good bit of damage on alot of skills.

On a soul destroyer vs ice titan:

5 ATK * 1000% skill * 1.59 icepick * 200% element * lex = 318dmg.

If that means the difference between 49.5% and 50.1% hit then it is absolutely worth it.

Whoo whoo +5 atk on my high str alchemist <3 seeing as I always wore the dagger anyways (who needs r.flowers when you can have a knife stuck to your face?) this is a big boost.

I never got the eye patch, though, and I'm glad I didn't waste my time. Evil wing ears and their glorious +1 str will always remain on my middle-headness.

The majority of people I know did it only once, so there won't be near as many as past event items.

It was a 1 in 3 chance for the story quest and i'm not saying there aren't alot out there, just saying compared to nile roses and baseball caps in past events there aren't near as many.

Baseball cap genocide from ppl wanting +9's has lowered the numbers of them now though.

I did it with 8 characters and only got one pirate dagger and that was on Iris, now I wish I would have gotten one on Loki

The storyteller quest wasn't so easy to finish. Remember you have to collect for 9 different npc to get a chance of getting pirate dagger. A few of characters I left incomplete because I didn't have enough time to collect all the items or the items were just too hard collect by myself.

And I know for a fact, that some people hate doing quests so maybe there's not that many out there.

Then again maybe the majority of the community do not realize it's vendable now. Someone should just put one for vend.

Baseball cap was reward for aniversary last year. Slotted, 3 def, all class equippable. During the aniversary event last year, it had additional effects.

The Story Teller event quest (almost all item gathering, reward was fairly large amounts of exp - 3.6m for the whole thing at lvl 80+) gave out an item from the last aniversary quests at random after the whole thing was completed - including Nile Rose (given out for 2nd aniversary, before it was available through the hellion quest), BBC (3rd aniversary, last year), and the pirate dagger (4th aniversary, this year).
