Five glorious years have passed since iRO officially opened. Many adventures and heroes have been seen in that time. All of this is cause for celebration! And in Hugel from June 10 to July 8th we will be celebrating with a Grand Festival! (http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/News/Event/eventContent.asp?mNum=3&cid=97&page=1&serOption=&sertext=)

For a quick trip to Hugel talk to the man with the Invisible cannon by the old Swordsman guild in Prontera.

Happy Adventuring!
Gravity Interactive, Inc.

Details of the event will make their way to the wiki as well.

Excellent, even another incentive to come back. I always seem to love anniversary events.

This rocks because I can get about the same exp/hr with BMs doing that poem NPC as I do leveling my MS. Except I'm not spending millions an hour on fish and mammo.

Well at this point I'm saving the tickets until I ultimately decide what to do.

So what kind of games are there and what kind of rewards?

The only game that matters is the one where you retype a poem verse for the NPC. With this you can have an elemental armor by the end of the month or you can use it for a ton of exp to level a char that usually needs a heal slave or a ton of resources to level.

The numbers game is a lot better now and a lot more fun than the poem game even. A lot more worth doing than the poem game.

Yeah after trying it out I gotta say the numbers game is just as productive as the pre-nerf poem game and a lot more fun and easier to do.

what changes have they made to the mini-games? still havent had a chance to have a go.

The poem npc was pretty easy using the control paste trick or using a macro program but now it has been nerfed so that you have to enter 3 sentences instead of 1(defeating the ctrl past trick) and if you enter it faster than 6 seconds you're warped away from the npc(defeating the macro trick) so it's not worth it. They've improved the number guessing npc by leaps and bounds so now it's far better and less tedious. It's actually pretty fun now, almost like a slot machine.

A lot of people are exchanging the tickets for medals for an elemental armours.

The number guessing one i know is addictive. I was only going to play it for a little bit, but just as i got to a nice big round number i'd win a large amount of tickets. and it would keep me going.

So they chose the city with the single worst BGM?

Ok, that's not true, it's Lutie. But Hugel is not far behind.

I haven't turned the bgm on in years.

And I find that watching a movie helps with the number game. Make sure it's one you've seen before, that way you don't have to actually watch every second.
