Veins Sibling quest

im doing the quest and seems to be stuck at the camel part.
i found the one lost south of veins but it doesnt give me anything except potatoes after 10 tries. before i completely waste all my ingredients (already lost 200herbs and 100 jellopies) i want to be sure im doing the correct thing.

how did it go for everyone? is it long to get droppings?

The quest, pardon the pun here, crap. You'll have to keep going until you get the droppings. I think I went through like 700 herbs doing it...

500 Green Herbs here. Gave a decent chunk of base AND job exp and an OPB.
