I'm not really sure how this series doesn't have its own thread already, but I highly suggest this series to everyone out there =).

Still waiting on chapters 811-815+ (hopefully they will be released soon)... I really cant wait to see miyata vs randy. =)

For those who want to check it out, you can read the manga at http://ippo-online.confusticated.com/ The anime was licensed and brought out to the US as Fighting Spirit, however it was really poorly marketed. Both are very much worth checking out.

For those who have watched the anime but want to read to see what happened next:

If you just Completed the 75 Episode Anime AND BOTH the TV Movie (Champion Road) and OVA:
You will want to continue with Volume 35 - Round 315 (http://www.confusticated.com/ignition-one/ippo.php?chap=315). Here, the story shifts to Miyata's OBPF Title match and he comments on the Ippo vs. Sanada fight because it has just finished in the Manga.
If you just Completed the 75 Episode Anime:
You will want to continue with Volume 31 - Round 269 (http://www.confusticated.com/ignition-one/ippo.php?chap=269), the day right after Lallapalooza ends.
If you just Completed the 75 Episode Anime AND ONLY the TV Movie (Champion Road):
If you choose not to or are unable to watch the OVA, you will want to continue with the Mashiba vs. Kimura fight which spans from Volume 31 - Round 270 (http://www.confusticated.com/ignition-one/ippo.php?chap=270) through Volume 33 - Round 289 (http://www.confusticated.com/ignition-one/ippo.php?chap=289) and then, after reading that, you will want to skip to Volume 35 - Round 315 (http://www.confusticated.com/ignition-one/ippo.php?chap=315). Here, the story shifts to Miyata's OBPF Title match and he comments on the Ippo vs. Sanada fight because it has just finished in the Manga.
If you just Completed the 75 Episode Anime AND ONLY the OVA (Mashiba vs. Kimura):

It is really good. Both the manga and the anime. Honestly I'm surprised they never continued the anime. I also wonder how much longer he's gonna continue the manga.

Also, the anime failed at showing more fights with Miyata, except for that first battle near the beginning of the series. That was kind of disappointing. Also, it took 50 episodes for him to finally make a move on the girl, wtf :omg:

Actually there is a Sendo gaiden that is supposed to be out, just have to wait on ignition-one to start up the scanlations again. Seems the head of ignition-one was out for a while and just got back so we should be getting more chapters soon =).
