It was implemented in Thor Volcano for a reason. To prevent soloing or at least make it cost a lot of time/zeny.

Yeah, that's what the link is for. @the defending aura option, the sader still needs to kill it to qualify for soloing it. The most the bow guardian did to my naked ME priest was 3k dmg through pnuema. With a link and a lot of resting i'm sure it'll go down :D

The bow guardians dont even hurt that badly. I often finish the kasa i'm on if bowmaster starts attacking me. They are most annoying in a way since you cant drag them around like you can the swordmaster.
A monk i talked to on loki says he can take the bowmaster out easy IF he lands next to it. But he cant really get close enough to fist it otherwise. I'm not sure why he cant Pneum+TSS them to death....
If you're with a priest, though, it's easy, just pneum and kill however you like.

bow guardians don't hrut that badly like everyone has said the only thing is just watch for when he switches targets which is random

Wow, surprised noone mentioned TKM, I kill them on my Leveling TKM all the time when they are in the way of the instant spawn field, no problem other than arrow repel and stun.. =(

I only kill them on my tkm if they're dramatically affecting my rates. Why bother killing something that keeps the comp out and I can avoid it just as easily on my tkm?

Everyones to scared to actually do it. It seems even those tkms on training wheels (with priests) won't even kill them. I used to kill them if they were in the way on my tkm, but now I generally let it stick around so people leave. :D You'd be amazed how many people actually leave and wait for someone else to take care of it too.

Tkm with proper reduction gears.
Champion can kill both Archer and Sword Guardians. Blue Forest on his Champion kills them pretty often and quite easily.

I manage to live that damn boomerang if I have EC and assumptio on, and if I have my cranial equipped (usually my default for walking on that map anymore, only swapping to penomena when parked against a wall and killing kasas). Sometimes live without the cranial on... sometimes.

@ bow guardian: I've Arrow Vulcaned it to death a few times, not really worth the effort, just drag them away or pneuma and walk away. Soloing on champ is hard cause they can repel you even with pneuma down (isn't it lame how monster can do that?)

@ sword guardian: need to white pot/heal after the boomerang, but then they have somewhat of a delay in which you can lure them for a bit or run away. These cookies are tough, and not even worth killing. Making them go away is the best choice.

you can actually kill Bow Guardians much faster without dying most of the time NOT unioned. Try it out once

Pneuma -> Snap to pneuma -> Gfist?

Pneuma --> Snap to Pneuma --> Snap causes a delay where you can't gfist --> Archer Guardian repels you and DSs/melees you some --> You drop a new pneuma and heal yourself --> pray you have enough sp to 1-shot it still and go back to step 1

Soloing Bowmaster is not a problem..the key is,as long as you can outpot + tank its damage,and inflict massive damage per second,then you're on the winning path already.Bowmaster is a boss protocol,along with Swordmaster Guardian...so Heat can blast them away easily.

I managed to solo it on my paladin, DA+RS+heal/pot spam. A waste of time tho.
