All Servers

- Changed the monster skill that causes AI changes from being blocked by silencing the monster.
- Fixed some problems with the Glorious Staff of Recovery.
- Corrected a problem with the Cat Gang Quest.
- The Mail/Auction systems have been restored.
- Corrected a bug with the 'Poring War'.

Looking at kro's site, the number of updates is equal to doddler's updates...so yeah...looks like that its all...unless they put some new sprite or stuff...but that we won't know about before the actual maintenance ends in korea~

Gravity seems dead set on stopping players from mobbing anubis. Its probably some of their greatest source of leveling-grievances I imagine, there's a pretty lengthy list of complaints from users on ragnagate. Recently they changed Anubis so that they would lose target easily if mobbed, but it appears people were just silencing before mobbing.

I like silencing non aggro minos or banshees to prevent them from getting aggro again.

The patch file only had 1 loading screen in it.I was amused when I saw that.

It's not really "broken" experience considering how few in numbers they are. They're supposed to be a nice little bonus for when you level down there. On iRO it has a nice little community, which this game has been lacking.

It's only that kRO didn't expect their people to mob it continuously.

I enjoy mobbing them. My record is 5 (Half the map). I only do it on level 5, though.. where I mob the Pasanas anyway.

Would suck if they do it on iRO =(

Anyways, Gravity really loves to **** her players...
They love to take out every little chance to easy leveling... :yawn:

I don't think its so much easy leveling they're out to get, there's 10 and 15 anubis on the two maps. On the kRO screenshots you see dumb things like players holding 6-8 anubis for noob leveling with ygg leafs and stuff, or mobbing as many as 5-10 anubis for ME or SG. This isn't about easy leveling, its about individuals screwing over other players by ruining the map.

I think them losing interest if you're trying to lure them too much, is far more elegant and easier. =)

Any new information will either likely be released on the kRO homepage when the time comes, otherwise it will be announced at RWC like it was last year. Apparently though Gungho (jRO) according to their official blog will show off some of the 3rd class sprites at their 2008 user symposium (http://www.ragnarokonline.jp/news/event/symposium2008/) this weekend, but not 100% sure.

Earth quake would kill the whole map... better just a Power up or so.

Anyway I find Korean language very easy... all you have to write is ??? ??????? ?? ???? :D

If three did get together and start Earthquaking, eventually all the spawns would build up there. Not to mention every singly Anubis would be casting EQ simply because the AI would count three on each of them.

Change it to critical wounds 5. That way priests need an AGI character to tank them, making the map less abused by priests, and they wouldn't be easy to mob, since when your flee is killed, you'd be killed.

But that would make normal levelling harder. It's the mobbers that they're trying to screw over.

this has been happening since anubises came to iro, especially the part about holding all the anu spawns for a nub to healbomb/yggleaf. generally if i see that level of stupidity on the map, i show them my own brand of stupidity, and it's usually in the form of a few dozen DBs. that tends to make any lol mob party think twice.

On Loki, I haven't REALLY seen that many people mobbing multiple anubises. I've done it a bit, but that's because I've HAD 2-3 spawn on me.

Like I said in the last thread: Honestly, why would you want to do that intentionally? Yeah, the exp, but ow, and it's a pain in the ass. 15 on a fairly large, convoluted map like Sphinx 4 is kind of annoying to mob up.

Jayed: No, just no. That wouldn't work for multiple reasons.

1) It'd also screw over melees. Moreso, in fact; priests can Kyrie themselves, especially if there's just 1.
-And you'd also have to change their AI to do it IMMEDIATELY upon seeing a player. As it stands now, I get Critically Wounded about...25-30% of Anubises? Nowhere near all the time. And that's in large part because I don't bother silencing the damn things anymore.

2) Critical Wounds doesn't prevent you from using ygg seeds/berries or ales, or any HP item that heals a percentage of your HP. (At least, I'm going off of Doddler's experience tanking Bee. On Loki.) It's NOT a failsafe.

Xae, I haven't been down in Anubises that much, but I've really not seen those epic failure "HAI I MOB 15 ANUBIES 4 A NOOB 2 KILL LULZ" parties. Most I've seen most parties do on Loki is like...2 or 3, which - again - is within the bounds of natural spawn.

Be nice to see what they come up with. Its retarded when 2-3 groups have all the spawns locked down so nobody else on the map can level AT ALL.

Heck make them stationary (or very slow walk speed) and replace sonic blow with soul destroyer or something similar.

I heard some comment on irc that they also use NPC_KEEPING... (making them take 1 damage from all attacks, even TU)
