The finale just finished its airing. I'm gonna miss looking forward to new episodes of Avatar.

Now all I have to look forward to is "The Last Airbender" from M. Night Shymallamadingdong.

(Sorry, Avatar's not really an anime, but its animation is inspired by it!)

DISCUSS!

Is it just me or did the end of the fight with Ozai seem like complete bull?

And yeah, I sympathize with ya ET.

Aang vs. Ozai, okay but too DBZish

Zuko/Katara vs. Azula: Epic.

I love Azula now, hair down she looked...cool! Hair cut she looked...psycho and cool. About as crazy as she was acting.

Edit: WHERE WAS IROH'S FIGHT?!

2 unanswered questions.
I am disappointed. It was a good finale, though ):

Are there any other good animated series on TV?

People are speculating a spin off where Zuko goes to find his mom, but he has a country to run now and the journey doesn't seem like something that'd take an entire season. Someone also mentioned 3 TV animated movies.

As for the live action one, if that douchebag is directing it I don't want to see it. I wonder what he'll use as a big twist for the ending.

Man I loved how the series ended. It seemed like for the last 4 episodes, each one got better and better. I've heard people speculate of 3 more TV "movies" to resolve everything, like where Zuko's mother is, but I haven't seen any confirmation. Man but I loved the music in the finale too. I felt like Azula really made the finale really something though, especially that scene with herself and her mother. I'm sad that the series is over. No more new episodes to look forward too . Oh and for those who missed the finale:

Edit: Viacom took the videos down, use the site Easy Target has below.

That guy uploaded all 4 episodes a few hours after they aired. With Nick being so gay, I don't expect a lot of reruns.

Can i get a series synopsis?

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a story about two Southern Water Tribe siblings, Katara and Sokka, that discover the Avatar, a young Airbender named Aang. He was missing for 100 years, due to the fact that he was frozen in an iceberg.

In the world of Avatar, there are what's called "benders." The elements that can be manipulated in the form of "bending" is Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. There are also subcategories in some of the elements. Such as sand/metal in Earth, lightning in Fire, ice/blood in Water. Air's pretty.. defined. The Avatar is a single person on the planet that has the ability to master all four elements. This is unique, because not everyone can be a bender, and even benders can only learn one type of bending. After an Avatar's death, he/she is reincarnated into the next Avatar.

During the 100 year absence of the Avatar, the Fire Lord, leader of the Fire Nation, decided he was gonna try and take over the world.

Aang has to stop him. But he has to master all four elements first.

Anyway, I thought Azula's downfall was pretty sad. She really lost it. But it was fucked up that she aimed at Katara when she was going to blast Zuko. Plus the whole Agni Kai thing. He should have said no, and then the both of them could have kicked her ass.

And yeah, I'm not really looking forward to Shyamallamadingdong's version of The Last Airbender, because someone will probably wake up at the end and realize that it was all just a dream or something stupid. But supposedly, the co-creators of Avatar are going to be working with him, so that he doesn't completely butcher a wonderful series.

You can watch all of Avatar at http://www.avatarchapters.org/ There's annoying little chats you'll have to disable the sound on, if you want to enjoy anything, though. To access the other seasons, just click Book 1 or Book 2 on the side or something.
