Yes, Shield Reflect works against Heat.

Heat does not proc Shield Reflect.

Tests were done using a High Priest kiting Salamanders with a TKM suicide bombing. With Union up, and with and no potting.

Every death were caused by either Union damage (dead with 20% HP left) or getting hit by the Salamander (huge ass damage number). Technically, if Heat could be reflected a TKM would die only after a few Heat pulses. Several deaths were caused by Union damage (40 pulses), so it's safe to assume that it doesn't get reflected.

I disagree. I can kill Kasas and easily outpot the Union damage but even on a tanked Salamander I die MUCH faster than I possibly could from Union damage alone.
That and GTB reflect clearly kills you, hands down.

Think about it realistically, if you were to kill GTB, for example, nd that takes ~100k damage, then you have to at least receive 50k back? I'm sure the server will let you overload with Heat, as in your Heat does ~100k and you take back the 50k in bulk and then you die or something, every server cycle perhaps? I'll watch closely next time...

well, okay.
It is written on roempire that GTB uses reflect shield lvl 10. Means u will get 40% DMG back.
I really would like to test it on Salmanders or calculate it. But there are no info which lvl their reflect shield got. Maybe there is possibility with a little party to survive if it's reflect shield isn't that hard.

I'll fraps killing a salamander today as he casts reflect. I'm a good potter, but I don't think I can take 1 hit + union damage + shield reflect and still survive an encounter with a mander, even though I have many a time.

Requesting an HP and tanker to come with, on multiple kills, so I can record a few actually showing it cast SR. I've killed a couple so far today, but really not having luck catching it cast the animation today. =(

Interesting update. Today when I was dinking around with a salamander and sword guardian, I noticed I was taking reflect damage. Not every time, even if I saw it cast SR mind you, but once out of like 10 salamanders I DID take shield reflect damage from heat. Could this be due to salamanders casting SR multiple times, and taking it off in the process or something?

Anyhoo, more testing tomarrow, and hopefully I can fraps the damage. Though it appeared to be 10%. Thanks for softly for the pm today, hopefully we can get a few manders down there later :>
