View Full Version : IF Weapon Repair THEN Game DC
Ever since 11.2, after i complete a weapon repair, i would get DCed.
just wondering if anyone is facing the same thing, if so, solutions? if not, we'll have to report to gravity.
They're already aware of it and working on a fix.

You can actually get salvaged if you get teleported elsewhere after completing your repair (i.e. Urgent Recall) before you'd disconnect.

Ooh that happened to me, too. Right in the middle of WoE. :[ But my connection was suffering greatly that day, so I didn't think anything of it.

On Wednesday I think I repaired people's shit like atleast 20 times. I spent so god damn much on Steel >.< Except I've yet to get diconnected o.0
Maybe it's fixed on Sakray?

its pretty annoying to repair in castle and then get DCed out. especially when i was fighting against posession where champ was breaking everyone's stuff.

I learn about this problem like a week ago but it only happens when successfully fix the person gears.
You also dc if you try and repair and don't have the right metals on you.

Must be a Main Server only thing, cause I don't think any of the Smiths on Sakray have experienced this. Like I said before all last WoE I blew a ton of supplies on freakin' repairing stuff, so did the other 2 Mastersmiths in my alliance.
Weird shit o.0
I bet the continuous weapon repair bug is what's breaking the servers.

Maybe they just want to make it so people go to the Repair NPC :P? Maybe someone really does benefit from the NPCs...

I would fail to see how they would want that.
That would be just a waste of a skill for BS/MS

Hi Magi!
Maybe they just want to make it so people go to the Repair NPC :P? Maybe someone really does benefit from the NPCs...
Apparently there are too many smiths out there. The Repair Corp. has sent multiple complaints to their parent corperation, Kafra Corp. regarding how they are loosing sales. After investigation, Kafra Corp. found out that although there wasn't a significant increase in new blacksmiths in Rune Midgard. "I would just send them over to the repair man, don't waste my resources!!" says one of the experienced smiths in Sakray. However, he also explains how smiths nowadays, due to lack of pride and determination, despite the fact that there is an inconvenience that the smith will get sent to an alternative dimension for 15 seconds (?*), would just repair weapons and armors free of cost because their customers are either; Their master; Guildmates; good friends or just don't know where the repair men are located anymore!
*who knows what he means.
Rumor says that Cool Event Corp. is secretly trying to buy out Kafra Corp's branch of The Repair Corp. as Kafra Corp. always wins the warping elections. Just another way for them to try to earn a living.
Due to the two issues mentioned above, The Repair Corp.'s shares has been dropping. Maybe after a few more server maintenances, we won't be able to see The Repair Corp. anymore.
