Gear for Thors

Jakk Garment
Peno shield or Valk shield (peno or alice for valk, peno being alot cheaper)


Is anything else really useful that everyone should have and is reasonable to get?

What gear do you use when in Thors? If you can't get the above gear are there any cheaper replacement gear that you can still survive in?

I know someone getting by just with an aqua armor and a peno shield. The fire element stuff hurts a bit, but as long as you have some reduction it's not too bad. The damage you take from heat + union is what really hurts.

Um, to kill a kasa takes about 30~% of your HP due to union. In most cases, with an aqua, fireball will hurt a hell of a lot more than the union damage itself.

I prefer Morph Set over Jakk, mainly because I've been doing the inn-heal-and-warp and I'd like my money to go as far as possible before I have to bwing and go at it again.

Gators would probably help more. =P As for the morph set, I suppose that could be on option, though I'd rather more damage than SP. With the way thors 1 is now (so crowded), sometimes assu dies before my sp. Not to mention the jakk would probably save you more money in the long run due to having to pot more. =o

I'm watching your own 99'ing video where you are doing 3k per hit to kasa's. They have 80k hp, that averages to a bit over 50% of your hp taken through union per kasa.

Besides that, I agree in general that using an aqua is not a good idea. Before 9x, heat + union on even one kasa will drain most of your hp bar, taking an extra 1k+ per fire attack by using an aqua would greatly increase your death rate.

As for the morpheus set, wouldn't spamming more whites per fire attack overtake the bwing/inn/bgem cost?

@ Roly, yeah, you're right for the most, though the union damage always felt easier for my to outpot. Gogo late night posting. =p

Ugh, what kind of pots/healing items do you use there? With jakk/aqua (all I could afford at the moment), I still can't outpot the damage. :(

Is assumptio/peno/pasana absolutely necessary? I'm stuck at lv 73, haha.

(off topic, what map do people use for solar? I was thinking skeggiolds, but you can't memo a warp on the 3rd map, can you?)

Which shiled would you put it in.The shileds being a +9 guard[1] or a +4 valk shield[1]

Pretty obvious with the -20% to fire damage, thanks the Valk Shield.
