View Full Version : GC Kickback question

One thing which the wiki's not all that clear on, and that I've kind of noticed while goofing around with GC on a primarily Vit/Str Sacrusader, is that reflect damage is treated exactly as if you were being hit by your own GC. And by that, I mean it doesn't appear to be connected at all to the damage you deal to the targets. Rather, it hits you as if you were a target, yourself. So...

1) Since monsters take less hits if more monsters share a cell, if, somehow, a critter was stacked on top of you, would you take less kickback?

2) Def + Vit reduces Attack-based GC (kickback), MDef + Int (and 1/2 Vit) reduces Mattack-based GC (kickback), yes?

1. Yes, both you and the monster takes 2 hit only.
2. No idea.

Well, from what I can tell when goofing off, regardless of how many things I kill at once with the GC, given my 'sader's low strength and GC-level, especially when compared to his Def and Vit, I take "Miss" damage most of the time, while the orc zombies take ~1k hits. This is to mobs of orc zombies numbering into the 20+ range. The only time I start taking damage is when I strip off most of my defensive gears.

Someone with a real Suisader build want to go and overload on MDef and see what happens?
