Firstly, regarding the slow loading, I'm sure you've noticed that once again the site is loading with all the speed of a glacier. I've contacted my host about it and they were very dismissive regarding the problem; and I quote, "I have checked the domain and it loads fine with a bit delay of 15-20 seconds." This along with various errors and crashes has been an ongoing problem for us over the last few months and, frankly, I've had enough so I'm going to move us to a new host. Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to do so at this moment. Peach/Beezle has been in the process of transferring to a new workplace and is going to be out of work for the next week, coupled with the fact that the domain we've shared the last few years is expiring soon and it was necessary for us to renew it or buy a new one to host her site.

It would be at least two months before I could afford to pay for a new host for us myself and I really feel that the success of this site is hanging in the balance. So, I'm asking you guys to pitch in for a new host if you can. $70.40 USD will get us a year of speedy loading and no more crashes on our shiny new host.

I assure you that once our financial situation has stabilized I'll make this up to you. For starters, we'll go ahead with that art book raffle I promised a few months ago and at least a couple other events with prizes -- let me know what you'd like!

Secondly, regarding the favicon contest; no, I haven't forgotten it. It's just been on the back burner what will all of this host nonsense and Peach/Beezle's and my work situations -- but if Remi and moonie could please PM their mailing addresses to me so that I can get their prizes in the mail this week, that'd be fabulous!

Piffy and Peaches, if you want to park on my host for the moment/as long as you want you can. I have like.. over 100 gigs of xfer that I barelyyyyy use. Just PM me for ftp and stuff like that.

I help host a few friends' art sites so.. yeah. :D I don't mind at all!
