So, first I would like to say that I did search about this on the forums but I didn't find any answers to it.

I recently thought about making a Battle Scholar, since Double Bolt now works with Hindsight, and I was thinking about the effectiveness of cards such as Kasa and Gazeti in a character with said build. I know that you have to perform a hit so these cards will trigger, which makes them useless to a Battle Scholar (unless he has 50+ base dex or something). But then I thought that maybe getting Spirit Spheres (trough a Monk/Champ friend or using GG card) would make my attacks always hit and trigger the cards.

I asked people in-game if Spirit Sphere hits (when you miss, that is) trigger autocast cards, and some people told me that they do, while others said otherwise, so I would like to ask anyone who has an autocast card (Wind Ghost maybe?) to test this out in-game, or if someone has already tested this, to post their results here.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Sorry about any bad spelling/grammatical mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker xD.

Spheres are like having a VVS or (VS) Weapon, or like the BS skill Weapon Research, so they do count as a hit and trigger auto-cast cards. 100% sure.

Kasa
When dealing physical damage there's a chance to autocast Fire Bolt Lv 5 and Fire Ball Lv 5.
Garment

Gazeti
When dealing physical damage there's a chance to autocast Cold Bolt Lv2.
Accessory

Taken from iRO Future Wiki Card Update (http://ro.doddlercon.com/wiki/index.php?title=Card_Update)

You'd probably be better off with Siroma (or Fire Imp) Cards instead of Gazeti and you could only use Kasa once you have enough Flee.

When using spheres, even if you miss, it'll go through. For example, I'm using a stun weapon but something has more flee than i do hit, i'll still do 15 dmg, and it'll trigger the stun to go off even though I actually am missing.

[Questionable tho is with SW, if you're attacking some one in SW, they'll get stunned even though you're missing. I should test stun without spheres while some ones in SW, I havn't tested that recently. Going now :o]

Edit: Yeah nvm, you can attack some one through sw with our without spheres and status's will go through either way.

The reason you havnt gotten clear answers is that the issue is less than clear-cut.
Status effect weapons are not autocast effects. Prehapse if they were implemented today, they would be, but they were implemented way back when when nobody had even thought of autocast.
Furthermore, for autocast effects, some proc when doing physical attacks, while some only proc when you inflict damage with physical attacks. This is further complicated by the fact that with the translators gravity has working for them, the description doesn't really help in determining which it is - so until we get them implemented on iro, or someone on another RO that has them tests them and communicates it to someone who posts it for other ROs to so, it's anyones guess whether they work on misses.

That said, if it only proc's on hits, spirit spheres would solve your problem.
Also, yeah, if you're on a map where you'd be using cold bolt, Siroma clip >>> Gazett clip. Siroma and Imp cards are godly, especially if you use 2 of them
