I couldn't even find the original game's opening, so its slightly inferior spin-off will have to do. Also not sure if its old enough ~'97 ish for original, this is '98ish.

The Flinstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock
one of the very few 'license' games i enjoyed. the map sections work sort of like Mario Party, with dice-rolling to determine your movement to each stage (non-linear). on each map, you end up chasing a certain character that has the map to the next area. when you catch him, you enter a racing sequence where you must beat him to move on. also, Wilma and Betty show up on the map and move at random, and you have to avoid them or they will drag you back home. the whole thing plays like a board game crossed with a platformer.

Treasure Mountain. I used to tear this game up on my 100 MHz Compaq. And then my teachers wondered how I could read and write so well.

Played this back in '92, when it was released. Before DBZ was as popular as it was in the US now, or at least i think.
I was reading the manga in '88 or so i think.
Man this kicked assed back then. And my original cart still works.
