yay new problem

my keyboard randomly locked up, early today [after i opened the laptop up, from standby mode]

i have had this problem before but it went away

note; it was working fine till i shut it down
computer is a hp pavilion dv2000 laptop

Try completely powering down the laptop, unplug it then remove the battery, then hold down the powerbutton for a few seconds. Nothing like a hard reset to fix a lot of laptop problems!

Plug it all back in, does the keyboard work at bootup? Like, can you get into the BIOS setup?

doesnt work with startup, once i get back from class, i'll rmove the battery and etc

mousepad is also not working, didnt check since i use a USB mouse 24/7

took it home, figured like it was my old laptop and had to unscrew something, took me 5 mins trying to figure out what i unscrew ( theres a button to eject the battery >_>)
removed battery put battery back in and boom keyboard works again :<
