Where to lvl an ME Priest?

That or Geffen Guild Dungeon I think at your lvl should be fine too...with another priest /swt. There's also Glast Helm, Geffen Tower (where all the zombies are), and Odin (with a party).

imo ayo 2 isnt possible without a peerless headgear, green pots use too much weight

Kiel Hyre 2 also works, if you have the quest (for parties). Gef3 as mentioned is great for drops. I'd steer clear of Tamruans because of their terrible jexp, unless you're non-trans/50.

haha thx for all the help so far...ive been lvling at GH prisons and gef dungeon i was thinkin of tryin out Niff now. Only problem is my cast is still way too slow, here are my stats atm:

1+21 agi
15+5 vit
85+15 int
81+19 dex
9+11 luk

When we get 11.3, anubis in sphinx4 and 5 will be great TU targets.

You could also try Odin's temple lvl 2 for ME, but you would definitely need a healing tanker (GC/Heal sader or another priest), and evil armor. it gives no job, but base exp is really good.

More INT.. please. It'll help you 1-ME those Disguises in Niff 1, and it's pretty fun there. Do you WoE on your priest? If not, then I suggest no more Vit than you already have and just get DEX after maxing INT. Heading more pure PvM usually is a fast track to hitting 99 and transing.

With your build until you get more levels, I'd say stick to Geffen 3 for a little and get used to that MEing and teleing if you have to routine then stick it out at Niff at 83+. And what skills do you have? Assuming since you're leveling in prison, you have SW. If not and have a ton of points left, get KE. It's lovely soloing as a normal priest. (I personally didn't have it, but I wished so greatly that I did)

105 int minimum please for niff 1 and tams. It will hurt you more having to cast a second ME than having a slower cast time. Switch between those maps if your soloing and if you can get access to geffen gd with a partner then get 112 int and go nuts there.

It's very good if you have a decent tank and good gears that boost ME damage. I don't really see any reasonable method to solo.

If you're moving around the 1st level of the Abbey, a Smith party member is absolute gold with Hammerfall. Also, I don't think the 2nd level is really feasible with low VIT at all as 90% of the mobs have a decent chance of stunning.

So far only had a short excursion with an ME HP and things do look promising. I know a number of people prefer Thors for the exp, but I'd rather get my hands on a Wool and Tidal set.

Dunno bout new dungeon is good...
but you can always go Niff or Ayo.

Niff is more dangerous due to Dullahans being Undead so Hell Buckler doesnt reduce their dmg, but if you have Priest set you should be Ok.

Or Ayo if you have all your jobs already (Ayo jexp sux), but you need Marduk as a MUST.

The cheapest and most effective defense against Dullahan is Shadow Armor. Their atk doesn't hit too hard, it's mostly their shadow property attack that does the damage.

I say lvl 2 is very good for ME. There's no banshee and other high mdef monsters, but watch out for the fallen bishop(mvp) he roams around there. But if you go there, you must have tank. I went on my high priest and slaved my friend's ME priest which was in the mid 80s. Without a teddy shield and assumption, he almost gets one shotted by the sonic blows. With a spiritual ring, he can almost kill them in one ME. I think he said he was getting around 4.5 mil slaved.

It's very mobby and be wary of those ragged zombies(the long ranged ones). They can really mess you up. I had a decent size mob and my friend was casting ME. Those ragged zombies kept arrow showering me out of the ME and I ended up attracting more monsters. It wasn't a pretty picture.

actually, i found it nameless is the best for ME,
I do heard that sphinx 4 and 5 tuing is great, but i get like 6m-7m per hr in nameless 2 w/o bm and 2x with my ME HP + the drop, i think it's greater than sphinx 4 and 5.
as for a ME, my best suggestion is geffen GD, if solo can pull around 3m per hr w/o bm or any exp boost, the next is niff 2, i pull around 2m there per hr, niff 1 is good for party but not solo for a regular priest, as for the ayo dung, i never try with my ME priest so i got no command about it. Geffen 3 is only for good jexp, even my ME HP get like 1 to 1.5m per hr down there mobbing like crazy (only me in that map, that's reduce the time when i'm trying to kill doppel).
Magma 2 is good too, but i think they change those dragon spawn point make it harder.
Aco Set is a must for ME lvling, -30% form both demon and undead, -10% sp usage, -10% cast time, and the best thing is +5% exp for demon and undead, with a undead or witch doc shoes that's like 15% for one kind.
don't use pericing staff, use a lich bone and a spritual ring and a clip that pull more dmg than a pericing staff, but usually with 112+ int and the 30% more dmg form spritual ring, u can almost one shot everything (except nameless, my 125 int ME HP can't one shot zombie sometimes.....)

No one has mentioned Gef3, which is much better than nif1, both for EXP and drops (OBBs mostly).

As far as gear is concerned, priest set + Spiritual Ring is a little rough with a Phen, and Phen switching is a pain for solo priests because things are usually always hitting you. I suggest putting your Geographer card in a Orlean's Gown, to keep the Phen effect while not taking up an accessory slot.

geffen gd is probably the fastest solo, assuming you're 9x HP and can tank/cast decently. my friend pulled 13m+/hr during the 2x event without a manual. so that's 6.5m/hr or so.

geffen 3 is nice but you're not going to get nearly as much exp per hour. the drops make it worth it, though. infiltrators, whisper cards, marrionette dolls and whatnot all sell for a decent amount.

not sure if it rly was broke now cause i just realized if you have orleans gown on and switch on/off a phen accessory then it takes away the phen effect from the armor too makes sense i guess sometimes i forget to put phen in storage on my priest and still press my phen key out of habit so yeah sry nvm lol

I personally always use a + 7 (working on a higher one) piercing staff on my ME HP, for two reasons:

- Gaining another magic attack bonus from the 4 int. (120 int)
- Piercing MDef, which helps me oneshot on certain maps. (Like for instance banshees on nameless 1, I sometimes go there to steal and kill them 1 by 1. With 2 lexes they die in 1 ME with a piercing and 120 int. Also mini demons and wraith deads seem to die in one ME, only with the piercing. Without it I need to lex them once.)

All maps have been mentioned by now, I guess, so can't add much :-)

Just that I love to go nameless 3 with a tank, hwiz, support HP, and me as support / ME HP. 5m / hour there.

Problem with the Piercing staff, same as healing staff, is that you lose your weapon slot. If you're happy without the Aco set, fine, but I find the Lich is better for this reason.

Hm yeah ok there you got a point. I am not using the priest set myself, so that explains. I just switch teddy and hell shields, so it's not that much of a problem. But yeah you're right, you gain 10 % less EXP that way.

On the other hand, piercing staff might help you to just get that oneshot, which potentially increases your exp more then 10 %.

Guess it depends on monsters (maps) and personal preferences.

If you have a high priest slave and can afk a minstrel, nameless3 is pretty ridiculous exp. With a manual and this 2xexp event I was making ~45m/hr slaved. +10 Despero guard, amon ra shoes, spirit ring, eru crown, eru sunnies, int food, 135int total 1shots necros if you lex spam during ME. Strings had like 100int, and I had a 99HP mobbing 2-3 necros for me. The HP also had high int and low dex, so the SP uptake was fine.

sometimes priestset with gown, piercing with diff. guards or sometimes just dex equip.
