I got flying kicked and managed to keep it for like a min in woe yesterday, and I had issues with missing people. I'm fairly sure that this is because of my 2 str (was using a +7 MG) making the damage less than 1. Would the 15 str I'm planning for my stalker build be enough to hit the high def classes?

What level are you and what are you trying to hit?

It was in woe, missed an lk and biochem. My hit has nothing to do with my missing, im a 97 bow rogue. Do any bow stalkers out there ever have this issue? Also, do status effects with flying kick have one instance or do they have a chance to activate with each hit of flying kick?

I've had this issue before, yes. Combat Knife and Ice Pick help, but then you can't use a status dagger which blows >_O There's really not a lot to be done about it, except sacrifice your build to get enough base ATK that you'll do at least 7 damage to anyone so when it's divided it still hits...

Yea...dont want to add str for that reason alone... Uh, now for the other question, does flying kick count as seperate attacks when using status weapons or just one attack?
Edit: Forgot to ask this, if you miss does the status still take effect?

I've been playing around with Flying Kick myself the last days. I met a high priest whose Def was high enough to make my attacks miss, but I was still able to freeze him with my Quadruple Ice Knife. I'm pretty sure it works with Flying Kick too. You could test it by Flying Kicking a linked character to see if the Soul Link disappears when you miss.

Well, I don't know, whether the link disappears if I miss - never missed a linked - so N/C about that. But don't you think, the priest might had KE on? I'd suppose it's like SW. If you would hit, but don't cause of the SW, the status ailments still accur.
I'm playing TKM in WoE and the only thing I can say about that - I've got big problems to hit High-Flee SinX in WoE. And I rarely can curse them with my 3x cursing book.
Is there any information about the differences between flee-miss and high-def-miss?

Status ailments do not bypass flee, but if your attack misses due to the target's high Def, you can still curse/poison/whatever him/her/it. Pneuma and Safety Wall work like high Def, and you can still inflict status effects on the target through Pneuma and Safety Wall. Kyrie, however, seems to block them.

Is getting rid of the sl buff considered a status effect?

unless it was changed with the recent update (where you cant remove links and serks in town, now), flying kick will still remove link if you miss.

sorry to revive old thread, but is it really working that way?
i did some test with sand attack (it works same way, no?) to goat and do 0 damage with ice knife (1 marina card) and it doesn't freeze or even blind and i already spend all of my SP doing that

That's not the same. You're not having your damage reduced due to high def, you're missing because of your element.

Ive got to say FK is n awesome skill to copy..especially Making Knights waste Zerks /gg. Most of the time tho i think it's most usefull for Bio ...and Or Statusing people in woe....I was wondering though, With a SB would it work better with e Str stalker then a Dex or is it the same chance?
