Thor Volcano Equipment

Hello members,

I was wondering. I've seen the video (Lordknight soloing volcano) I was planning to do that with a regular knight. Is that a viable option? Or unrealistic? In case it's possible to level there with a regular knight: Which equips are necessary for thor's volcano? What cards are needed to lvl there decently?

I have 50 vit and 100 base str and 50 dex. Pierce lvl 10.

Very doubtful. You won't do as much damage and have lower hp. Don't know for sure though.

I've never been there BUT from what i understanddd your gonna neeed an ifrit armour, a formless or boss monster sheild annddd assumptio's prolly gonna be a must have:(

+10 quad flammable pike, or 3x liberation 1x flammable pike, you 'll also need , ice endow, and a dedicated buff slave with assumptio, more vit will probably be better. why not a firelocke shoes or a peco peco card in that fire armor. i suggesst checking out dmg done and dmg taken on a stat calc/char sim before you procceed. but no 11.2 sim/calc is out yet.

Slotted elemantal armor is too expensive. Not doable in my opinion. Unless I hunt one for myself. Which monsters drop slotted elemental armors?

from what I gather, some of the monsters also break armor?? If that is the case, Immortal Fire armor, or Ifrit Valk Armor. But I'm sure if it does break gear it wouldn't be that high of a chance would it? NEVERMIND, i just checked, it's Divest Armor! The Fire Imps do it, and they're easy enough to avoid.

The slotted fire elemental armors will be item drops from Ifrit if you REALLy want one.

You'd want Immune or Noxious more then Flameguard, if you have a Fire Armor and a Valk Shield, you're more suitable to Fire Attacks that Flameguards wouldn't be as necessary as an Immune

i would say its gonna be very hard for a knight because of the lack of spear dynamo (the +50 hit is very very verrrry useful and so is the extra damage)

you're gonna have to make something like a 2x ancient 2x vadon pike or something similar to that, because you need 225(?) hit to 100% hit the kasa. my LK barely has that much and i have more dex + spear dynamo.

but since i'm assuming you're gonna pierce level there, i would say 190-200ish hit would be enough to solo there, but then your damage isnt gonna be great compared to the LK in the video. probably half the damage or less

As stated before, 170ish shit would be enough. Remember that pierce adds to your hit rate, so you could probably get away with just 1 mummy card in your weapon. Personally though, I'm not sure how well a reg knight would fare in Thor. I'm sure it could be doable if you took it really slow, but if you did that, you could probably get comparable exp on a different map.

Kasa needs 215 hit to get 100%. So 165 + dynamo = 100% hit. Pierce gives a bonus, too, the magnitude of which is unclear (maybe +20?) so it would be almost impossible on a knight, but trivial for an LK.

Minimum of 10k hp? What kind of knight would have less than that, let alone a lordknight?

The LK in the video is getting about 6m exp/hr before the battle manual.

It doesnt seem hard to duplicate what he does. Teh only annoying part will be the assu... and the +10 stat food... but you might not need that. I am very excited about this, on the basis of information which i wont post.

I would think for a regular knight it wouldn't be feasible to lvl like in that vid because you don't have dynamo/aurablade to make add hit and damage.

if you could eat seasame pastry(+30hit, is it still in the game?) and +dex food maybe you could get enough hit to not need mummy cards.

Also, the stone buckler reduces 5% on neutral attacks. Isn't that as useful as the valkyrie shield? and 9 def for a knight.

Valk Shields are about 30m on Chaos and Stone Buckler is -5% damage from Large monsters, not neutral.

Are you sure it's -5% from large? On RODE and several different websites it says: Reduces Neutral property damage by 5%. The description was wrong all the time?

The 6 bonus defence only occurs when equiping the full set (odin's blessing, magni's cap and stone buckler)

I'm going down there tomorrow night, i'll fraps the whole thing. Mind you, my LK has 8.4k hp at 79. Getting vit but i have all the gear needed. Plus i have a 99 hp buff slave im married to.

When i fraps this vid, mind you i'll have bloodly ball on to test that damage. I might switch to firelock if i need the DEF more and if the damage is fesiable.

So carded would be better off, since kasa is: Large, Fire,Formless, Boss protocall
