looking at the post your char thread here, (lol small atm but it'll grow), people are have low int dancers/Gypsies, is it just what they wanted to get or did someone tell them Int is useless?
I love high Int GK. T_T

High int's nice for GK, but vit's nicer for WoE, and you need the dex to be able to level, unless you sit on your ass and leech. Usually even a 30-40 int GK's sufficient enough, since most parties that use GK, have scholars, so GK's not even completely necessary.
For me, I wanted 90 vit and 150 dex without gear. I have 40 base int already, but I'm saving the rest of my points incase we get gym passes. I dont wanna get str if I dont actually need it, so it'd put me at 48 base int, I belive?

For gypsy I don't seem to need high int, as AV is a lot more sp friendly than DS. I have about 30 int now. I put GK/CP way later in my skill build since they're not a priority for me. I'm planning to get high Vit for WoE, and if people needed GK it's a skill that a dancer can easily do.
I had GK10 and high int as a dancer (for DS spamming), but I rarely was asked to use it. Maybe just in Bio for Sin-X's that wanted to save SP on SL'ed Sonic Blow. It's nice in WoE too, but a lot of people tend to prefer Slow Grace or CP. I'm not sure what other instances people would prefer GK over any other skill, or what the difference would be between a 40 int GK and a 70 int GK.

For WoE high int isn't an efficient build.
Its pretty easy also to find a party as a gypsy and with a scholar you never run out of sp.
Alot of people on iRO tend to also get mental sensing which leaves no room for gypsies kiss.
A gypsy can also get the full amount of value out of str from going over weight during WoE with whites/blues.

I'm obviously the minority; my Gypsy will have 72 total int with bless when she's 99/70, and I love it that way. And I have even less "need" for int because I (usually, anyway) have a 99 HP Husband slave. :P
I don't care much for WoE, though, and that may have something to do with it. Because I don't care for it I'm not going to build my character exclusively for it. (My Dancer had 89 base agi; does that say anything about me? lol) I had the same amount of int as a Dancer as well (I had extremely low dex. :P) but people took my Dancer over other Dancers in Bio, for example, because my GK was leet. I'm also asked to do it a lot in WoE. Before I joined Demise, as far as I know, they didn't have GK on a regular basis, but now it's practically required... possibly because they've been spoiled by me? ^_~
I really hate running out of SP, too. Not to say that it's impossible with my int, but honestly, with that much int with Sohee Shoes/Boots and a Crown of Mistress/Maestro somethingorother, it's kind of impossible.
I think it's all up to personal preference. I'm really happy with my int as a Gypsy so far and I was extremely happy with it as a Dancer. If you're more interested in 90/100 vit as a Gypsy than I am it makes more sense to get less int than I plan to. :)

I wished I had more int on my gypsy at times when it comes to hunting items, but as I have access to a bunch of sp gears, I'm able to hit a nice amount of SP when item hunting. With my gypsy (with 16 base int - I'll post my build later) is able to hit 1476 sp with Maestro, Wise sunnies, Champ tights and Sohee shoes, which is quite good considering my int sucks. As for regen, my sp regen does suck, hence why I use my personal priest for SP slave. But if you are leveling in TT/bio3, a scholar should be there to give you sp, so I don't think high int is that much needed for a gypsy really. But its my opinion, go high int if you really want =P
And for WoE, if you don't go 89% overweight, then you're not cool! Screw SP regen! =(

My Gypsy has 57 INT blessed, putting me around 1,300 SP (absolutely no SP gears). I never run out of SP duo leveling, and my Gypsy's Kiss is already more than sufficient even at level one for every party I've ever used it in; and the skill is becoming less useful each passing day due to the increase in the number of scholars around.
The only thing I can say negative about my INT is that my SP regen rate really isn't good enough to recover from Soul Siphon naturally (though this is once again MOOT if you have scholars). But then again, you aren't gonna reach that much regen with a Gypsy, since you don't have 130 INT and 2100 SP like a wizard.

INT on Gypsy's is great, I have 65 and wish I had gotten even more! Gypsy's Kiss is great for defending in WoE -- constantly keeping Wizards and Soul Linkers SP'ed in an emproom where everyone is stacked on each other is tough on a Scholar! There's also the added bonus of slightly more potent Magical Strings when linked. And.. It's also great for Marionette Control on low level mages!
I love having 1 int, and I love that everyone said I`d never be able to 99 with 1 int.
I had the opportunity to use a gypsy with 2x base int during woe when mine was still a dancer/low-leveled gypsy. Even with that int, I still had to bust through blues during WoE and now that I have my own gypsy to compare, I use only a few more blues than I did on that gypsy. (I was at 89% weight on each gypsy.)
I never planned on getting gypsy's kiss, thus I never wanted int. I planned to level with scholars. I either played it myself and gave myself SP, bought slaves, or just got into parties.

So you're saying that because both Gypsies ran out of SP when they couldn't recover SP due to their weight, that 1 int is the same as 2x int is the same as 9x int?
Obviously it'd take longer to get down to 0 on a 9x int build, but once you're at 0 it's all the same. In the end, you'll still have to use blues at some point.
