I've been waiting for HL2EP2 for years...Portal looks fun/different, TF2 looks too cartoony but should be fun.

I'll be picking it up. I've only Played Half Life 1 & 2, so 4 out of 5 of those are new to me. Also it's only $45 at GoGamer.com

TF2 has gotten great reviews. i love the art style and the humor of it. have you seen the class videos?

TF2 reminds me A WHOLE LOT of TFC which was the best game in existance (Alias: Foofy WHATS UP NIGGAS)

Glad to see they got the engi still and HW guy (mainly played engi and medic though)

Wow, I hadn't heard what was in that, I HAVE to get it! I'm still playing and re-playing HL2 on the highest difficulty for fun whenever I get bored.

I tried to pirate HL2 ep 1 but all the rips out there are crap. It's hard to play when you can't see half the objects :P

Portal looks pretty awesome to play around with. I saw the making-of, and it's basically the pet project that started HL2. As the story goes, some top guy from Valve was going around to gaming studios in Seattle (I think Pen-Art, close to here, I need to go to that college), this group of guys showed him Portal, and he offered them a job on the spot.

I love the look of TF2. That game (TFC) produced so many comedy moments for me that it's almost fitting to have the game look like that.

I'll be buying this on release date.

To me if the models are going to have a cartoony look, the world needs to as well. I guess it'll appeal to some and not to others.

I haven't had much of a chance to actually play it yet, and the beta seems really buggy (re: slow).

I'm mad cause my gaming rig blew up last week, and the only thing I have to play HL2Ep2 on is a laptop with 32 megs of video ram that only supports direct X 8...

In regards to TF2 beta testing, -> Spy is the most imbalanced class in the game. With that being said, enjoy getting back-stabbed a lot.

spies were pretty fun to play with in TFC but there you knew who was a spy or not when they were running around with the default weapon all the time

Though, I should have just bought it through Steam.. I think having the CDs on-hand is much more reliable. Especially at the same price.

After playing for an hour, I've found my niche as a Medic. God they're so awesome.. if only they could poison like they did in TFC.

does anyone still play TFC/CS 1.6? I just recently installed it and I hate all of these 2FORT/DUSTBOWL 24/7 SERVERS HURRR

I usually just play 1.6 DM servers. I try playing normal round servers, but I get so bored.

I used to play dustbowl/2fort. Then I tried the other ones. Then I realized -> there's too many crazy speed implementation scripts out there that playing legit is futile.

So I play Sven COop when I'm bored of frozen throne ladder, DotA, CnC Gen, or iRO.

Portal is such a cute game. The computer voice always cracked me up. And the turrets going "ahhhhhhhhhh" when I threw them off a ledge.

Though, I'm disappointed at how short it was!

Question: If my computer can run HL2 just fine, will it also be able to run everything else? Or should I just get it on the 360 and pretend to be cool like all the PC users?
