Woe HW gears

I'm not very sure which does a better job at woe. I'm worried about:

- Stun chance and duration
- AB damage
- Max hp
- Magic damage, and ranged damage (snipers annoy me a lot...)
- Having the option of using the staff of piercing without losing defence

Have money to buy any of the two sets. Opinions? :D

Did you even look at the stat window?

Piercing is another discussion, but I personally don't feel piercing is going to be worth it most of the time. What is your role? Cast fast, keep consistent dps, and support. Piercing is just designed for damage and costs you a lot of survivability and cast time. Truthfully I see it being pretty nice when you have +20 stats, and when used with stat food, but for general play the survivor combo is ridiculous.

If snipers annoy you put a quag on them, get pneumad, or get a paladin to follow you around. The survivor has higher neutral reduction and with the nerf to AB I definitely prefer survivor combo. Wool Scarf/Tidals are going to be sweet for other classes, but for mage classes we already have some nice new gear.

I did, but there are another things beside shown def/mdef...

I think the wool&tidal combo has a lot of benefits that are not shown there:

- Reduced ranged attacks from the noxious card
- %5 water resistance from the shoes

As almast all magic attacks are ranged, I think it will help quite a bit... and i don't really see the advantage of the higher neutral reduction when is just 1% more than a raydric.

Also, if the stun resistance with 40+6 vit is enough with the help of the stalactic golem card, the lack of the +10 vit from the cloack will help against AB... and honestly, I don't like the idea of having a 0 def garment :(

But maybe I'm not right :wah: that's why I'm here looking for advice :p

Why you use High Fashions is a mystery to me, if anything itd be between using a Valk Shoe with Green Ferus or a Tidal Shoe even without the combo, and stick with the Survivors Combo unless you can get a +9 or 10 Piercing Rod

I love using reduction gears, and I don't see the neutral reduction very useful nowadays, when almost everyone uses a converter/aspersio/etc.

Also creators spamming AB in me every woe made me wonder myself if thar +10 vit were worth it.

Also, if you weren't going to use the survivor's manteau, would you use the traveler's set or something else?

10 additional vit can make a huge difference between killing/hitlocking people or letting people run through your SG cuz you are stunned.

If you get a staff of piercing it might be good to use other garments, but so far i think survivorsset is very good for woe (vit+hp)

Btw. where is the valk armor or at least unfrozen ele armor?
I use megalith hfs for switch btw. and i'm quite fine with those if masses of hwiz or prof are trying to rape me :p
