I tried to do crossfit, broke my neck and now I'm stuck doing bench only again.

How are things for everyone else?

Haven't been able to go to the gym for a week now. Stress ate so much that I had to stress eat some more. Gaining 7 lbs in 6 days can't be all muscle, can it?

Shitty year overall for me fitness wise, shoulder injury that took way too long to recover from puts my bench slightly lower than it was - 315x3 down from 315x4.  I'm sitting in the 280's, so while my weight loss this year wasn't great by any means, at least I've got it back under control.  I think I started the year at 315.

Hit 445x2 on squat, my previously tested max was 455, so maybe a minor increase in my squat max.

Haven't been able to pull over 500 sumo which is what I hit in March, so kind of upset about that.  I did get 480x4 in my last training cycle, but I think I pushed a bit too much and I've just been shit with sumo this cycle, barely got 465x2.

The one little shining victory: After not having pulled conventional for a year, I tried it again when I was failing at a 465 sumo, and pulled 465 pretty... easy.  So instead of trying to rep 490 sumo today, I decided fuck it, I'm going for a max conventional deadlift.  Tomorrow will be the anniversary of you guys telling me my form was shit and I was going to fuck my back up (which I definitely would have if I kept pulling like I was).

Definitely rounded in the upper back (which doesn't bug me on a max attempt), but pulling 545 felt pretty fucking great after a year of little progress and shit like getting laid off, etc.

Also managed a 485 squat, 325 bench and 210 ohp, so PRs all around. So close to a 1400 total.

what'd you do to your shoulder breh? i'd separated mine earlier in the year with a grade2 separation that healed unstable...then and just had a motorbikle accident a week ago with a gr3 separation, which is super fun.

so i'd now like to take the time to thank our lord and savior kerri walsh for she said let there be KT tape, and there was KT tape. and kerri saw the tape  was good. and it separated my separated shoulder from pain.

Sumo is incredibly form dependant whereas one can retard pull conventional.

The deadlift looked good. It's pretty awesome that you cleaned up the form on your own.

Grats on all the PRs. I hope the shoulder gets better ASAP! I tweaked mine a few times this year, but I have good prehab for it now.

So bros, I know this might me the wrong place to say this but I was just at the new pserver forums. I was discussing Ragnarok with them for a good hour and a half. Then I realised its 2015.

Had to deadlift 50lbs above my PR to get the nerd off me. Now I can't decide what class to play Monk or Knight?

Competed today. It was over 100 degrees until the end, but I stayed hydrated pretty well.

485/342/551 for my non metric friends. I tore my meniscus last January, then reinjured it shortly after rehabbing it, so it's been a struggle to get my squat up, but finally feeling a good 85-90% there.

I went 7/9, missing a 578 deadlift from resting on thighs twice because (in hindsight) I accidentally rolled the bar in front of me before pulling...twice. Dumbass mistake, but I'll fix it and pull over 600 easily mid next year.

Time for 2016 and some real numbers!
