there's a very fine line between what i consider good and bad HDR, take a look at http://www.stuckincustoms.com

I learned my processing technique from this guy, i enjoy a lot of his images, but some of them are way too over done even for my liking.

Up? Down? What?

^ That's actually a reflection off of the surface of a lake. The grassy bits in the lower right give it away, otherwise it'd be pretty hard to tell.

Btw, no editing on any of these other than rotating the one and resizing them.

Hey guys, I haven't played RO in a while, but I'm going to come back this summer.

Anyways... I started photography a year ago, and I would like to show you guys some of my pictures. Most of these pics were taken in Texas.

recent photo i shot for class, subject was 'time.' woo glowsticks, toddlers, and 15sec exposure! developed it on glossy paper so it's sort of reflecting at the top.. we use 4x5 cameras AKA THOSE ACCORDION-LOOKING HEAVY CAMERAS that suck to travel around with. i loove film though! it's so fun.

i'll get a better quality scan in later... now its szzzzz time

Sigh I wish there was something picture worthy around here. Haven't had much of a chance to use my new cam...

3rd pic is creepy cool, first 2 have nice focus. what was the subject??

im posting my own pics lol. i've been using a 4x5 camera for this semester, make my prints, and then scan them in after they've been sitting between my mattress and boxspring to flatten (much more efficient than a hot press LOL). we get to use 35mm/medium format starting in jan w/ color film. so excited.. b/w for half a year is tooo long for me!

for this assignment, we had to shoot 'in the style of..' another artist, so i chose candida hofer.

didnt rly wait for this 1 to flatten

I'm not really even a hobby photographer (I've got a Kodak EasyShare C340 - lol), but I have a few pictures that I'm probably overly proud of. :)
And yeah, I'm a Photobucket loser, too.  Not cool enough to have a flickr.

Sundogs
I took this photo around 7AM in February 2008 from my car.  It was COLD.  I thought it turned out pretty well for being taken quickly and through my windshield.  Only edited to crop out my dashboard.

Rock Face
from Moscow Mountain in Idaho.

My first good view of the Rockies from I-90 in Billings, MT.  Gimme a break! I'm from eastern North Dakota, where a topographical change of more than one foot/mile is considered a lot.
I managed to not get my dashboard in this picture too, though I'm kind of disappointed about how much the mountains were covered up by the overpass... :(

Edit: all the other photos here make mine look lame... sadface :(
Awesome stuff, though!

It snowed here in tn yesterday. First time in a long time. My wife told me to take the camera and get a picture of it. I'm quite pleased with how this turned out.
