Normally I'm pretty bad at taking photos but I like how this one turned out. This was a part of the "South American Garden."

Gorgeous photography bokeh! The colours are stunning; love the sunset and car ones on your flicker.

Just wondering if anyone know more bout lenses and camera's.

Was thinking bout getting a DSLR for my backpacking trip (10 months) and was looking for some all-round lenses.

I've got my eye on the Nikon D3100 body with a Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. Might also get the new "nifty fiftie" AF-S 50mm f/1.8G.

I'll mainly be shooting landscapes and urban city pictures. Perhaps a macro here and there. Needs to be rather compact and lightweight to bring along.

Anyone have have experience with the 18-105mm lenses? Saw the 18-200mm lenses around too but I'm not sure if i'll need 200mm zoom.

Excellent choice. Unfortunately I don't know much about lenses except that for me personally I'd go with anything with incredible zoom capabilities. I'm saving for a good camera. I only have an old school D50 at the moment with a crappy standard lens.

Necro ahoy!

Probably one of the more amazing storm clouds I've seen!

Taken with my G2x which is total crap indoors but takes awesome outdoor pictures.
