At 200 AGI weapon penalty = 0

Shield Penalty is -7 at 200 Agi. =/

My total aspd at high agi and dex decreased by 1 only thanks to sniping goggles' +1 flat aspd else it would be a -2 decrease.

If I undertand, you loose 1 aspd point now than before, so, rangers got nerfed?

Weapon penalty seems to be:

(Base Mod)*(1-agi/200)

I do not know if it can switch signs from positive to negative and vice versa as I cannot get enough agi to tell. (Don't have +10 Food and Mintrels harmonize)

Here is aspd table:
Code: [Select]
Dex = 20
Agi ASPD
010 159
020 163
030 166
040 168
050 170
060 172
070 173
080 175
090 176
100 178
110 179
120 180
130 182
140 183
150 184
160 185
170 186
180 187
190 188
200 189
210 190

Dex has little to no effect now
210 AGI and 147 dex = 190 ASPD

Edit:

Code: [Select]
Agi ASPD
220 191
230 192

Battle Chant takes a while to activate =/

Further testing shows that the Weapon mod is agi/240 or 250

Shield really is a constant -9. But ASPD potions are % based now. which is what caused the -7 when I had Awakening potion at high ASPD.

Edit2:
% based ASPD seems to use (195-aspd)*%

Edit3:
For those of you who don't know. RK's got a huge ASPD buff since their Alcabringer (Refine/2) and Masamune (+2) gives flat ASPD increases. Rangers are lucky to have Sniping Goggles (+1). But GX are completely screwed...

Now the aspd classes are nerfed, the fragily balance went to the space.
Only agi RK is better than before, or no, it depends.

However they`re should review some classes`s ASPD skills and item usage.

Gunslinger Base ASPD with 9+1 Dex and 1+1 Agi is: 152.
Revolvers: 150
Gattlings: 150
Rifles: 144
Shotguns: 117
Grenade Launchers: 117
Shield: 146

With Berserk potion:
Base: 162
Revolvers: 160
Gattlings: 160
Rifles: 156
Shotguns: 135
Grenade Launchers: 135
Shield: 157

With 99 Dex + 13 Dex(InAc) + 1 Agi + 5 Agi:
Base: 156
Revolvers: 154
Gattlings: 154
Rifles: 148
Shotguns: 122
Grenade Launchers: 122
Shield: 150

With 99+13 Dex and 99 + 5 Agi:
Base: 178
Revolvers: 176
Gattlings: 176
Rifles: 171
Shotguns: 144))
Grenade Launchers: 144))
Shields: 172

With 99+13 Dex and 99+5 Agi and Berserk Potion:
Base: 182
Revolvers: 181
Gattlings: 181
Rifles: 177
Shotguns: 156
Grenade Launchers: 156
Shields: 178

With Last Stand:
Base: 187
Revolvers: 186
Gattlings: 186
Rifles: 183
Shotguns: 167
Grenade Launchers: 167
Shields: 184

Gattlings with  99+13 Dex and 99+5 Agi, Berserk Potion:
Fever10: 182
Fever10+LStand: 186

I can assume that 190 ASPD for 2nd jobs is like 193 ASPD for 3rd Jobs.

Now it's easier for the Swordsman Class, in general to reach 193 aspd(1HQ, 2HQ, SQ)....

I like the new formula a lot! Changes proposed by GungHo might not be that bad at all. I had a so called hybrid Ranger and my ASPD was 179. After the patch my ASPD raised to 184. Lowering it to 181 gave me enough stat points to raise vit from 80 -> 100 and luk from 1 -> 56. If I brought it back to 179, I would gain even more stat points. This is my current build:

Up: Stats with only awakening potion and Archer/Sniper/Ranger class buffs.

You can easily drop Int by 17 and Vit by 10 and reallocate it into Agi. By the way i have thought that most ASPD skills now stretch ASPD Gain points gauge. Let`s say 90+10 Agi and 80+20 Dex gains you 100 ASPD points, it will gain you 183 ASPD, and ASPD skills increase ASPD points gain by % and with +20% ASPD boost it will gaing you 120 ASPD points and this will be equal to 185 ASPD.

Using Clogon's data and the previous aspd formula, under same conditions: 20dex and increasing AGI by 10 intervals.
Here is the comparison between the distributions. Stating the obvious, Gravity is following jRO's suggestion plan.

Previous one had been a linear formula while the current one closely  resembles a polynomial 2nd degree formula.
The return from AGI in the new formula is significantly better < 185. It overlapped between 186 and 187 aspd, the turning point.
As it approaches the high end, under the old formula: 210agi would give 193aspd, currently: 210agi only give 190aspd.

Which arises some curiosity, I think Gravity just perfected a formula where the max-aspd for lv99 limited ~190aspd without an added boundary.
