I hate the genre.

I hate the stereotypes.

SO WHY CAN'T I GET THIS GODDAMNED SONG OUTTA MY HEAD?!?!?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=8p6zjdAMMbc - Not a roll.

Cause first we gonna rock.  THEN we let it roll.  Then we let it pop.

GO!  Let it GO!

Fuckkk this song was old and I hadn't heard it in so long but I recently ran into it and.... get it out of my head ;_;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_nGObVkLsE

Wayyyyyyyyy toooo cute not to like. This song is sooo adorable, lol. Uplifting but in a mellow way. Plus, I think Vanessa Carlton is veryyy beautiful =]
It's about losing her virginity but it's done with such taste. I love the way she says "he's my first..... mistake". Arghhh i love her!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AErizIsh5Rs

'It's alright
And I put myself in his hands
But I hold on to your secrets in white houses
Love, or something ignites in my veins
And I pray it never fades in white houses

My first time, hard to explain
Rush of blood, oh, and a little bit of pain
On a cloudy day, it's more common than you think
He's my first... mistake'

and

'And you, maybe you'll remember me
What I gave is yours to keep
In white houses'

Iron Maiden: The Clairvoyant

I initially dismissed the song as up beat and happy for months, I'd only listened to the intro because I liked it. Then one day I listened to all of it, it changes from happy to tragic(I guess). It keeps changing back and forth, I can't get enough of it.

Alas I have had Happy Working Song stuck in my head since watching the AAs.  It's not really that great, but it's infectiously catchy.  Raping is definately an apt term to use.  With a song this ^_^ awful, I know there must be more of you in the same boat!!
If you never try anything new, you\'ll miss out on many of life\'s great disappointments.
