Too long from now. Finally a new avatar. This is what animation should be like.

Add the sequels (if there ever would be one because he made it ) to things he should not touch.

Pretty sure there isn't going to be any sequels due to the first one being botched beyond belief.

It might have made enough money off theaters+rentals to do a sequel, but hopefully they don't.

And he has nothing to do with the animations at all.

First Avatar was pretty cool in that they animated kung fu moves pretty accurately. (Thought they were going to half-ass it, but was impressed.) Definitely looking forward to Korra. The show needs more muscle characters.

One thing that erked me with this show is that Kids (I can accept that the all mighty being that can use all of the different disciplines can take on armies) can beat up trained and experienced specialists. Atleast I like what happened in the episodes and the writing.

Is this a movie or a mini-series? Whatever format they choose, I'd really want to know if the "sky monks" (sorry) was built up (again) by Aang. Hopefully Aang's not that annoying granddad that keeps talking about his childhood friends (as a way to give the audience some information about his gang). Also, what country's the most powerful. etc. Hope they don't scale the story down too much.

Aang will be dead in this one, since Korra is the avatar. The only way for there to be a young avatar is if the last one died. And this will be a brand new series, at 24 or 26 episodes I believe. Whether it has more than one season or not will depend I guess on ratings and such.

And I doubt if the air monks have come back much. I always assumed that bending was transferred down through parents(not all the time) or through blood. So if you didn't have an airbender somewhere in your direct family over the generations chances of the talent developing are slim.

About Aang, I wasn't talking about him as a living, breathing grandpappy. I was talking about his Avatar-talk-to-Avatar-ala-Dead-Jedi (dunno the name). He'd (maybe) try to teach young Korra about life by talking about his adventures with his friends from youth then again his vocation probably made him less chatty. All of this just to give fans of the last series some back-story about their lives after the war. I want to see all of that from the new world and how everyone from the old series has influenced the present but not necessarily completely from Aang. Hopefully that made sense.

About the present state of Airbenders, this just got explained to me in a conversation I had and it made me sad. I thought the refugees on those old air temples were the new Airbenders. Apparently, Everything airbendy was killed off. :/ I thought those refugees somehow replaced the old monks. That's a whole piece of the elemental pie that just went over my head. I don't think Aang could have supported a whole Harem just to repopulate the Airbenders.

:/ I have more whacky ideas popping up just from the trailer but I'll wait for the new series... speculating is a hard thing to give up (-_- Lost and Heroes... was fun nonetheless).
