About Aang, I wasn't talking about him as a living, breathing grandpappy. I was talking about his Avatar-talk-to-Avatar-ala-Dead-Jedi (dunno the name). He'd (maybe) try to teach young Korra about life by talking about his adventures with his friends from youth then again his vocation probably made him less chatty. All of this just to give fans of the last series some back-story about their lives after the war. I want to see all of that from the new world and how everyone from the old series has influenced the present but not necessarily completely from Aang. Hopefully that made sense.
About the present state of Airbenders, this just got explained to me in a conversation I had and it made me sad. I thought the refugees on those old air temples were the new Airbenders. Apparently, Everything airbendy was killed off. :/ I thought those refugees somehow replaced the old monks. That's a whole piece of the elemental pie that just went over my head. I don't think Aang could have supported a whole Harem just to repopulate the Airbenders.
:/ I have more whacky ideas popping up just from the trailer but I'll wait for the new series... speculating is a hard thing to give up (-_- Lost and Heroes... was fun nonetheless).
