This AI is a uses MirAI as the base for most of the functionality. It contains both the Homunclus and the Mercenary AI, putting common files in a common directory where it would only need to be modified once instead of changing them for each AI separately. The Mercenary AI (still in beta, needs more testers to make sure there are no issues with it) supports all the classes and focuses on the attack skills and some of the passive skills such as parry or weapon quicken. The skill usage is turned on, there is no limitation of the spamming of attack skills currently since previously it was based on Tact information. I will look into a way of handling the skill spamming later on. Also, curative skills that the Mercenaries have are not set in the AI and have to be used separately by the owner from the Mercenary skill list.
The only change done to the Homunclus AI was the removal of the auto attack skills from the alchemist and the commenting out of the auto aid pot skills. If auto aid pot is re-enabled all that would need to be done is to delete the commented code.
To install the AI all you need to do is copy the contents of the MirAI folder into your USER_AI folder and replace any of the files that were already there. I typically suggest that people make a copy of their original USER_AI directory and then in the original USER_AI directory they delete all the contents and past in the new contents. **MAKE SURE TO TYPE /merai IN ORDER FOR THE MERCENARY AI TO BE INITIALIZED TO THE CUSTOM AI**(this may take relogging after the ai has been switched to the custom ai)
The users may notice there is a .project file in the MirAI directory. This file is for eclipse development, if anyone wants they can download eclipse and the lua eclipse plugin (google to find these) and then they can do all their AI modification in Eclipse. The file has no effect to the functionality of the AI so it can be removed if anyone does not want that file to exist in the AI directory.
