It feels a bit like dot//hack but I think with how the story is going, It will be a bit better imo.

they also have manga about it as well just not that many in English yet as far as I have found.

@gryvan yea I agree that the story looks like it might be better than Dot Hack but if im not mistaken Dot Hack was the first series to try doing something like that. so for the time when it was created I think they did a good job at creating dot hack

I think it will be 24 episodes... same as ACCEL WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been reading part of the Light Novels (kinda confusing going back and forward on time...) but yah... it's something I'm looking forward...

I'm happy for Accel World as well...  =)

Yeah this could easily go 3 seasons with the 3 arcs that were present in the written version.

Seemed pretty interesting so far.

That's what happens when you post about animes in threads. ;D Someone is always going to spoil it if you just keep reading.

The irony of the matter is getting another anime spoiled from reading a thread for a different anime.

But it is true.

Either way, SAO seems to be more "serious" than .hack anyways since people, presumably, die in real life if they die in the game (compared to just going into a coma in .hack).

A game without magic is so boring though. =\ I'm hoping there's going to be a hacker (ally of the protagonist) of somesort in SAO who gets to use magic. ;D
