i hope it turns out being more than 1 season. It'll be tough to get as attached to the characters in just one season.
Doesn't seem like it has enough characters to expand into more than one season, but you never know. Korra does still need to learn the other elements so she could get three seasons like Aang. (Unless she already has all four elements mastered by the beginning of the season. I mean, she was firebending in the trailer.)

afaik she only needs to learn airbending.
I think it'd be easy to incorporate more characters into it since there's like a whole city that's anti-bender for some reason, and the bad guy with the mask is probably making some huge plan to get rid of all the benders!

The cycle goes Water>Earth>Fire>Air. So at the very least, there's still air to learn. As for the characters, well who knows? It's not like Aang's group was set by the end of the first season.

Also!! Katara is the new gran gran <3. I wonder if we'll see old lady katara bend at all.  I wish toph had been the one to be alive since iirc she was youngest it made more sense.. But i guess with the new avatar being from the southern water tribe, katara makes more sense

Oh, it's official? Ever since the other thread said Korra leaked, I've been avoiding any vids of at as to not ruin the fun when I do see the official one. Maybe I'll check that one out later.

I hear the streams might be temporary so watch them ASAP if you want to see them before the official TV air date.

Yeah, it's official. It's the reward for people who participated in Nickelodeon's Korra Nation club stuff.

Awesome episode this week. Anyone else find it odd for that the water Avatar is doing more fire and earth than water?

So the premise is, the main villain can "do" energy bending. Quotations around the do because according to the previous season, only a fully realized avatar can do it. Plus, Amon was missing the whole lights show thing that Aang did.

Apparently, lightning bending is no longer a special thing. They got teams of fire benders zapping lightning to the power plant lol.

Lastly, I'm still not feeling the whole early-mid 1900s theme setting. It just doesn't sit right with me, especially with how fast their technology developed in a mere 70 years (Aang was gone 100 years and things barely changed).
