I'm getting 90 or so str, 110 int, 90-100 vit, and 100-110 dex.

You want at least 90 base str, vit, and dex for the backpack bonus. All three are very helpful for a genetic. The 90+ int is a given for CC and AB dmg :P

For good surviveability, get a sera and level her to 123+ (I believe the damage reduction goes up depending on her level, but even at 123 mobs that would do 500-700 dmg per hit were doing 1's) for pain killer asap! The damage reduction from normal hits is crazy OP!

Goal: Battle Geneticist, PvM, maybe MVP with AD
Funds: 70kk
Gear: Proxy +9 of Balder, Bleack Leath Boots +9 w/ Firelock Soldier, Valkyrie Armor +5 w/ Peco
Stats: Agi 9X, Str 9X, Int 10X, Dex 9X (base values, without bonus)

I want to attack fast and hit hard, both physical and magical. My questions are:

1) Does Sword Training increases ASPD by 5% at level 5, or was that removed?
2) Which 1h-sword should I use to benefit from high STR and INT? Is Elemental Sword the best one?
3) Which Homunculus S would complement my character better? I was  thinking of either Lif>Eira or Filir>Eleanor, but I'm not sure  that is the best option.

Build: 90 Str/Vit/Dex, 100 Int.  And other stat points left unused >_>;
Funds: A couple Hundred mil, no access to god items.
Gear:
+9 CoD of Caster, +9 Maestro Rideword Hat
Robo Eyes / Takius Bandana / Fatasm Black Frame Glasses
WCP / Pirate Dagger
Orlean's Gown.... it's unfrozen for Ice Cream usage.
+9 3x Kingbird Red TENS / +9 [Uncarded] HF
Cranial/Brutal/Fireproof/Anti-Medium Valk Shield of Hell/Royal Guards
+12 Immune HBP / +7 Immune Nid Mant
Variants / Shackles
Sprint Ring / BSB / Sweet Clips

Homunc:  140 Eira  (Meaning access to Overed Boost for 500 Flee + 189 ASPD)

As you can tell from the stats I've listed above, I haven't been putting in points since mid-130s.
I'm currently thinking about getting vit to 96, because they have +4 as a bonus.  (I like the even 100 vit)
But beyond that, I have no idea what to do with my points.

My thoughts on the stats:
[SPOILER]I figure dex is just for cast time of skills... and the only two I really use atm is Cart Cannon and Acid Bomb.
IIRC Acid Bomb is fixed cast time, so it only affects CC.
Pumping all in dex (90 -> 110) will change my cast time from 20.85% to 16.22%
Or... after calculating CoD and Spring Rings... 10.39% -> 8.04%
Do those numbers look to be worth the usage of all points in dex?  (Again note, I won't be using a Hammer, so don't factor that in with the dex)
Also, if I'm in strings, I'd have instant cast with either dex amounts.  So yeah...

So I'd think I'm mainly looking at Str or Int for Genetic?
I think AB gets more damage out of ATK in Renewal IIRC?  So more str would get a bigger bonus on weapon attack... would this be better then just getting raw int?
Again, it would pump from 90 Str -> 110 Str.  (And give me +600 more weight limit!)

However Cart Cannon I've noticed gets a much bigger bonus from INT.... so maybe I should pump some INT?  (100 Int -> 115 Int)
It would also boost cast time, max sp, and regen...[/SPOILER]

I'm currently thinking of pumping Str, if it really does make AB better.
Since I'm 150, I don't think I need massive CC damage anymore.  And anything I do need to CC, I still do pretty well with my current stats anyway.
What does the Genetic Community think?  Or should I mix and match how I raise stats?

Skills I'm COMPLETELY lost in.
So if I could get a quick rundown on useful skills, that would be wonderful.

I have Cart Cannon/Remodeling/Boost Maxed of course.
So I have 34 possible points remaining.  (Well, 32 atm.  But let's ignore that)

IIRC; The WoE Skills were:
Mandragora howl (Duh), Crazy Vines (remove ground skills), Thorn Wall (DPS), And hell Plant (Goes through Pneuma, and strong?)
Did I miss any, or get anything wrong?

- What are skills that are useful in PVM?
- How about MVPing?

- What skills of theirs are blocked in ET?
- Can any of their skills at all (Save for Cart Tornado >_>:) hit ghosts?
- Does Fire Expansion 4's effect work on MVPs?  [Both HP% Drain, and Hit/Flee debuff]  (Since I have eira's Overed Boost, halving hit could be amazing.  The DPS would be nice too.)

I'm currently thinking of:

And switching up if I decide on WoEing full time.

A few guildies and I tested and it didn't work.
That was about a month ago.

1)  I believe INT benefits CC more, so I'd go for the int first.  When I re-started playing again, I picked up my 1/1/1/1/1/1 genetic, and gave him like 60 str/50vit/50dex, because I thought those would be gotten no matter what.
And when I was cart cannoning, I was doing like 2k... >_>;
So I pumped INT to 100, and I then started doing more respectable damage.
That's why, without looking at formulas, I think INT will give more mileage.

2)  Should the CoD be +9?  That's where it's last bonus is at.
But at least with Rideword vs CoD.... I first used Rideword to save on pots (Along with Nid + Double Malicious Carga; + Sweet Clips), but I got sick of my cast time...
So I just switched from Icecream to White Pots (So I spent 8x as much to level) and I went with +9 CoD of Caster, and 2 Sprint Rings.
My cast time felt leagues better, and I never went back to that RWH.
[Not to mention the damage increase from Hero Backpack when I switched.  90 Str/Int/Dex for all of those bonuses..]

IDK about other genetic skills...
But Cart Cannon should work with it.

I use my genetic frequently now, and I can confirm both the HP drain, and the SP drain to work with Cart Cannon.

int is what affects your CC most. you can do CC without str if int amount is sufficient. plus without int, your CC cast speed will be garbage.

cod vs rwh depends on your playstyle/how you lvl/etc. if you like solo-ing then i suggest rwh. also unlike cod, rwh is a universal gear that you can use for almost all classes. you wouldn't do bombing with it, and personally i can say that +9 cod's price tag isn't worth for anything else that you might be doing. if you're a serious lvler, spend some money on +20 int food. its not overly expensive, and definitely compensate for cod (plus you get the extra sp drain from rwh, which should pay out sp items as if you use cod). by the time you hit 150, CC'ing becomes one of those rare occasion so your cod wouldn't be used much, unless you CC in ET or something (where you should have string = makes cod obsolete)

rideword hat works on CC, for sure.

Rideword works with CC, it's just that everyone is switching over to a Heroic Backpack now.... going from a 2% chance to gain sp with a nid, down to 1% which is pretty shitty by itself.

Hey i need help with my CC build
my current (base) stats are:
90 str
1 agi
54 vit
95 int
60 dex
1 luk
 
I want to know how to get the max amount of dmg from CC. Right now i pretty much got all atk gears like BSB, Diligent weps, Cancer Crown, etc. Should i stat reset and drop str to 1 and get 120 int? not really sure what to do
