Stings!

It's still on the debate list as it is coming from wiz points. Considering SPR instead, hmm..

I don't think is that useful to get quagmire 5.
Getting it lvl 3 should be more than enough unless you want to support agi class
on mobbing. Or your doing a special wizard build for woe.

I'm saying that but on the contrary getting quagmire lvl 1 have a pretty short duration if you intend to use that skill for mobbing it might not help as much as you want, if its only for survival then its alright.

Soul Strike, its my personnal opinion but I prefer to leave it at lvl 9 since the difference between lvl 9 and 10 is only 5% dmg vs undead and 0.2 second in cast delay. Well im saying that because I will never be able to sense a 0.2 second delay on iro I think.

I don't quite understand the fireball 10, in term of mobbing especially with firewall, I would take Fire pillar but thats my personal opinion. remember that lvl 1 to 5 firepillar doesn't use blue gemstone and is still very efficient. Many tricks to use with it, and a lot of fun ;)

otherwise I really like your builds, too bad there is so many good skills for wizard and we can't take them all :p

With Increase AGI, Quagmire 5 and level 90+, you'll have around 40% dodge on many high level mobs, which is pretty useful on stuff like Raydrics and High Orcs.

Depending on where you plan to level or party, it's an awesome survival tool.

SW is not that useful for me when I can't really afford to spam gems for a good while :p In fact, I made it to 99 high wizard without SW, and only got it after for WoE.

Soul Strike is for a quick finisher, and for fun. I didn't realize the difference between 9 and 10 were that small, I already have 10 :D I guess I'll enjoy the reduced SP use.

LoV is for many things, SG/LoV leveling (majorous, others), mass farming byb island (phen plz), anolians, etc

I don't really find myself ever using firebolt as a second job unless I'm a sage :p

Hasn't icewall been nerfed into the ground?

I used fireball 10 a lot on my sage since it didn't have much else for aoe to things weak to fire, and found it quite handy! Granted in the long run, not too sure it would get used, I don't think stings will be viable for leveling compared to a lot of other places anyway.

If I don't get fireball 10, I might get SPR 7 or so... SP is always a pain! Or maybe SPR 3 and try FP 5 just for more fun.

Edit: HMM, I didn't know quagmire was that good! Perhaps something like this then:

Quagmire is one of the best skills out there. Quagmire and Icewall alone are the only reason why I have ever played wizards. Back on aRO, I tanked MVPs on my assassin with the support of Quagmire. It also slows down MVPs(and normal mobs) so much you can vfw them easily. Not to forget it's great for when you have an assassin mobbing for you. There is absolutely no reason NOT to keep Quagmire on MVPs all the time.

I have no idea if iRO has nerfed Icewall but it's one of the best wizard skills you can get. You don't need a very high level of it, so level 3 should do. It's great for MVPing and mob control. If you need to wing an MVP you simply icewall directly on it and cast whatever skill you have on it. Not to forget Icewall+Storm Gust alone is enough for you to solo Amon Ra :)

Safety Wall is just something I always want to get on wizards. It's probably the only thing you could change in the build if you're positive you don't need it. I can think of a million situations where you'd want to protect yourself from physical attacks, though. Especially when you're gearless and die in one hit!

Unless I'm mistaken, icewall with MVP's were changed so everything teleports out of it, no matter what!

I use firewall, instead of safety wall :p

Why they don't, I don't know, FD has it's uses in pvp/woe as well though a lot of people prefer stone curse over it. As a wizard, I love spamming frost drive on those crazy hunters that go around DS spamming during WoE.

I used to love FD 10 with JT 10, which is really old school now I guess. I kept it at 1 with my woe build and I regret it every second :'<

On PvM it's better to mob and SG/MS, and on PvP/WoE just use SG.

Frost Diver is cute when you're still a low level without dex, but gets really useless by the endgame.
