I did not test +% Range attack though. Only %atk and anti-Boss and anti-non-boss bonus. I'll test it once I get my computer to work.

I need info about racial/shieldcard reductions, somebody (sorry cant remember right now) said the new shield cards work like pre-renewal racial cards?

Thanks! that would mean that a +9 level 4 weapon would give a bonus of:

9 + ( 9 + 4 ) * 5 = 74?

That's a pretty nice bonus in addition to the 63 attack you get from the upgrades (74+63=137 ATK). It's even sexier that this is added into skill damage calculations before the skill modifier unlike mastery bonuses ><.

I tested this one. on the unicorn (holy, high mdef)

Bolt: ~65 --> ~75
PW: ~2500 --> ~3500

dunno, but if the statdef is reduced by MBreaker, the (relative) difference from Bolt should be higher than with PW

Yes... And also you can see that damage increases not linearly if you use 1~5 levels of MB. Difference of 1~2 is lower than 4~5levels. Which probably prooves your suggestion=) Because for example (1/550-1/600)<(1/100-1/150)

So, even if there is no overrefine, you still get a + EquipUpgradeValue ATK?
For a +6 lvl 1 Weapon this would mean additional +6 atk, although the weapon isn't even overrefined.

Atum your OverRefine bonus formula works for lvl 1-3 weapons but lvl 4 weapons get 1-14 bonus damage instead of 1-11:

Don't know if it is 40 or 41 for the first lvl 4 weapon test. I could easily have misread it as I tried getting 432 again for a while but couldn't while 431 was seen at least 20x.

I can reproduce this test if you have a GX to poison me!

This is no place for questions... But yes EquipUpgradeValue mean just the refine values. But lvl 1 weapons get 2 damage for every +1 not just 1.

I know that lvl 1 weapons get 2 dmg/upgrade, but my question was just refered to the overrefinebonus:

OverrefineBonus = EquipUpgradeValue(Ex:+1) +[EquipUpgradeValue + WeaponLv] * OverRefineValue

+6 lvl 1 weapon:
OverrefineBonus = 6 + [bla]*0 = 6, though it's not even overrefined.


I also can't imagine the overrefinebonus that high. If you think of a +20 lvl 1 weapon you'd get this:

20 + [20 + 1] * 13 = 293 atk overrefine bonus, which would be a lot!

For a +20'd lvl 4 weapon this would be +404 atk.
Compared to that it seems pointless to use a 2handed weapon, which won't get this bonus. (At least this is, what Atum said in the first post)


And I thought this should be the right place for a question which is just refered to the formulars of the first post. D:

I just tested the Def Formula again. And the reduction value is 580.

my attacker has 150.27 s.atk and his Bash lvl 10 did 726 damage on me with 114 s.def and 250 e.def.

150.27*8*580/830-114=726.06

AFAIK these equips gain 5 more def than the usual ones.

Ex: Formal Suit => 40 DEF "GoldenFormal Suit" => 45 DEF :)

Bugs:

Forgot to mention:
+ sign now creates a new tab.
- sign removes current tab.
sign detaches the tab so you can move it else where.
The lock prevents you from detaching and changing the order of the tabs.
Double click the name of the tab to edit the name then press enter to save it.
You can have up to 10 tabs.

here is the chat log options again since you missed it, the first time I posted it.

Quest log tells you if you have all of the necessary items and (# of monsters killed)/(# of monsters needed). It also tells you if the quest log/objective changed.

Edit:
In pvp areas, options 15 and 16 only shows the damage you and your party members receive not the damage you deal. But will still show you what you are being targeted with.

the exp gained seems to be wrong for killing monsters that are over 10 levels higher than you. im not sure what the exact %s are but when you kill something 11 levels higher than you, the exp gained is noticeably higher then killing something about 15-20 levels higher.

also, the amount of job exp you gain from a monster is based on your base level, not your job level.

even without updating the recalc it's still pretty accurate. For getting formulas, you can just check its code. If you look at the calcs source, you'll see the included js files. Most roformulas are pretty obviously hidden in "roformulas.js" here:

I think the gained exp per level difference has been changed. I've noticed changed from up to 10 lvls difference. Im not really sure what the exact facts are, so the topic starter change the first page?
