RO Patching Cannot init d3d OR grf file

Trying to get Ro to run after I reformatted this notebook.
It's a Gateway MT6920 Notebook with windows XP.
After patching and trying to run Ro from the client I'll get d3d OR grf file error.

I'm thinking it's a driver problem since I've had to update some drivers on here to get things to run properly but I had a lot of trouble finding the compatible video driver for this model with XP OS. I tried out one that must have not been the correct one since it still isn't working. Unless it's another issue since I've read a lot of people have had problems with this error.

That's the first place I was trying to find graphics drivers but if you go under windows xp professional x32 there are only three drivers. Unless one of those drivers would help.
Would I be better off going with a driver from another OS option?

I made sure to update DirectX when I was trying to update more drivers.
