The fact that the GX will look like my WoW War (at times) does not please me too much. Requesting GX redo. ;(

The rest I like.

Edit: They should swap RK and GW sprites. It'd look closer to what their class is imo.

arcbishop: HOLY SHIT THE MALE IS HIDEOUS. female is cute (albeit slutty) but probably because it's basically the HP sprite recolored.

mechanic: same as ranger i guess. this is the first smith-class sprite i haven't wanted to jizz all over though ):

Always knew Fishnets looked better on Priests than it did on the Rogue/Stalker. Now tell them to get started on the Shura sprites dammit!

Warlock / Ranger are solid, although I doubt the kawaii-animu fags will like the female ranger that much. Guillotine Cross / Rune Knight are ok, and if that is really the direction they want to go for mechanic it's fine but I could see them reworking it.

Arch Bishop sprites are just garbage. The male one is ok, but the female one is an eyesore.

Needs a lil polish. The othes are all great, just perhaps the gX needs something...

Male Rune Knight looks awesome. Female not so much.

Both Warlocks are great.

Rangers... wtf.

Arc Bishops... Final Fantasy is very influential.

GuiX is OK, at least it's better than the first sprite.

Mechanics are very futuristic. Female looks good.

I dunno but personally, i dont really mind an ascent color. If you've ever looked at the way they design pokemon, they usually have 1 dominate, 1 sub, and sometimes an ascent color they use. I know grav is going off the manga design, but i agree it doesnt look like they're heading toward that direction at all.

As for you crit on the sprites; I'd say ontop of your crits, i think most of the sprites are too busy. Theres too much going on visually my eyes are going in circles all over the place. Too much detail in this case is 1. Killing the palettes and 2. making the sprites harder to look at.

Being an artist, and a gamer. Unless your going for hi end relatistic details then i wouldnt make a game as 2D as RO, have alot of detail player sprite wise. We have to stare at these sprites, for a long time. So they should have a balance between where it should be detail'ed and where it show flow easily. Take the Paladin on Peco Sprite for example. Pretty damn busy overall, yet we break away from the busyness of the armor aspect with organic wings, the pecos beak, his feet, and even some of the tunic itself is very flowing and organic. Its very nice to look at.

I'm fairly fond of the Rune Knight, Warlock, and guillotine Cross sprites, but the other three are pretty bad. Especially the Archbishops; both genders make me want to claw my eyes out.

Contrary to what one or two people have said about the runes on the rune knights, I think they actually look pretty nice on them. At least, bright flourescent colours seem to add a sense of warning, like on bees/wasps/etc! Makes them look slightly more offensive and prepared for battle, rather than prepared to pot, much like they said they planned it to work like.

The colour on the Guillotine Cross, as much as I like the design, I have to agree is pretty off. But hey, Morroc's the next area getting lots of attention. DESERT WARFARE!

And both gender warlocks look cool, collected, and serious. Big improvement on Wizards and High Wizards, which I think looked seriously uncomfortable.

I like those fanmade sprites better. The warlocks are ok, but would look way better with more cape and less leg. These sprites are too different from their old jobs. The female ranger and female arcbishop look somewhat acceptable, the rest need some work.
