kRO: Renewal Quests

Note: You have to have completed the access to the Brasilis Dungeon Quest to finish all the steps.

For anyone interested, here is the text you need to do the curse of gaebolg quest:

Here's the exp values I got from quests I did.

Curse of Gaebolg - 90k Exp
Lost Child Quest - 135k Exp
Rachel Sanctuary Quest - 75k exp, 90k base, 60k job
Veins Siblings Quest - 100k base, 50k Job
Nameless Island Quest - 100k base

There's some hints for the quest to gain Proof of sapha's honor in El discates

The 6 npc of the council in the middle of el dicates:

-The 2 npc from up-left ask to kill some monsters in new world (in my case: Draco (twice), Dark Pinguicula and nepenthes)

-The other two from up-right ask for items dropped my new world mob ( Strong vine, fur, Solid Shell)

-The other two from down-right ask for items in the normal world (pineapple and witherless rose)

does anyone know the rates for prize medals,

every one keeps saying 1/10 of old.

I know all that,

but the base lvl goes to 150 now so shouldn't there be new exp rates
that no one is testing?

or does the exp stop growing with medals at 81.

i used this guide to do the quest on kro, but after getting the bradium brooch and talking to the guy for step 17 i seem to be stuck. for step 18 when i go back to the guy in midgard camp for the dragon manteau he keeps repeating the same thing to me instead of giving me the manteau. anyone else have this problem?

You probably forgot some talking-options at step 17.
Talk to the npc at step 17 and try all options until he doesnt say anything anything new.

i tried that and also went back a few steps to make sure all the npcs are saying the same thing every time. =(
is there another quest i need to do for that 1 npc that's stopping me from completing this quest?

btw, just wondering if anyone has problem reading other people's msg in chat box even if all the options are turned on.

I've tried everything and only things I can see on the chat box is stuff I said and PMs...

There are two different places for message options. There's the editing options for the window itself and manually typing out the commands for getting rid of certain chats. I forget the commands but they're listed in the game itself on the options to turn things on and off (same place you find the turning on and off effects, etc). I believe the commands take precedence to any of the settings you have for your two chat windows.

ok, i figured out my problem with the dragon manteau. i needed a proof of sapha's honor to get it.

also found a little bug with the el dicastest enchanting npc. i put 2 enchantments on my light of el dicastes accessory, put it in storage, took out another one that had no enchantments, then when i tryed to enchant that one it put 3 enchantments on at once only for the cost of the 3rd enchantment (not sure it that guarantees success on the 3rd one though).

The light of el dicastes enchantment will never fail. It will always succeed.

Yeah...those commands are so weird. I only found that stuff out by accident one day. Glad I could help!

Ayothaya Dungeon Entrance Quest changes:
the old lady requires 3 ninetails, 3 fabric, 1Solid Husk, 1 ygg leaf and 3 holy water instead. on the old items

Why did they change the item requirement anyway.
That's for the Holy Thread, right? What about the Holier Thread?

because it's senseless to require hunting down multiple 120+ monsters to get access to a dungeon with lvl ~70 monsters ?

is there a bug with nidhoggur instance on kro? i did all the required quests on my warlock and have a party of 2, it shows the little instance window but it doesnt let me enter =(
