By how much raises Matk by upgrading a book or staff?, in the calculator upgrading a weapon does'nt give any matk but increases the weapon atk.

I think it was
+5 MAtk each upgrade of a lvl3 weap
+7 MAtk each upgrade of a lvl4 weap

but not sure

The same system of atk
Weapon Lvl 1: +2 matk each
Weapon Lvl 2: +3 matk each
Weapon Lvl 3: +5 matk each
Weapon Lvl 4: +7 matk each

hmm question about the pwave formula.

you need Int=150 for the old strength of PW5.

If you take out the SorcStaff and the SorcOrbs, you forgot int from job (10), staff (3), headgear (3) and possibly armor (~1) and shield (2) = +19.

Yes, if you're buffed to the max all the time. I really can't maintain the cost of +10 int foods all the time and I doubt I could pay for +20. Sleipnir is far beyond my reach and Brisigamens aren't that common.

So on average, most Sorcerers you find will have ~130 - 150 int.

as a magically offensive sorc im not even planning on having 120 base int
i believe 110 is fine

its such a waste to max it.. Sorc are not all about magic damage

Soldier Sorcs would do great with Striking, VS and SFist

not pure PW equipped:

120 bInt
10 jInt
3 SorcHat +2 Int
3 Weapon (2x Necro LBW)
1~2 Armor & Shield
10 Bless
2 Accessory (at least 1 OGlove)
---
149~150 Int +3% MAtk

But I assume that if you go for DD build, you'd wear VArmor + Magic Bible for 3 Int out of Armor + Shield, Cronos Staff as possible. I think the OGlove is stronger than another 2 int acc. So that's pretty much it. Waiting for SorcEquip ...

The average Sorc should have 10 less bInt, no from accessory and no from Armor or Shield, which would be 137. Possibly another headgear(card)

it's not a waste, it's jst expensive.

And I still don't know what Striking has to do with SFist. SFist isn't really a battle skill, since you don't need Dex for hitting, or strength. You'd be a bolter built with a staff. It's just a close range skill.

close range skills doesnt really suit the magically offensive Sorc
well you stil have a point..you can chain Spellfist with the AoE as long as it ignores flee

Thats not true... Average int on PW sorcerers will be 150~190, without God-likes. You might not be able to make +10int, and pay for +20food, most players are, though. Its not really that hard to have yourself prepared for WoE. With that logic there would not be any AD casted on WoE, since is too expensive and you cant afford that.

How many wizards in current WoE do you actually see having +10 int and +10 dex foods on ALL the time?

I WoE with +10int food, +10dex food, and +10Vit food on all the time, 'till WoE is over. Well, before i stopped playing that is.

My WoE build is based on them, so that i can hit 140int, 150dex, and 70Vit at the same time (with bless), so, i dont like to be running around WoE without them. I never use them outside of WoE though.

I never once WoE-ed with stats food. The only statfood I ever used was those I got from quests.
So would be ~137 Int for me, if gravity doesn't change the DD part of sorcs

Sorcerer band (maybe with isila card if its slotted), valk armor, mental stick, 2 telekinetic orbs, bless.

@Frost : at least on iRO i know several hwizards who have +10 dex food on permanently, i'm pretty sure with renewal there will be sorcerers who will have +10 int food on all the time.

So people who want to use food items will probably have 160~185 int, if they have access to sleipnir 185~210 int.
This however will not be very common, i'd say we should use 145~150~170 int to calculate common PW damage.

well, Mental Stick and TeleOrbs are rarer than TV Book and Comet Book.
And yes, they may add +10 int food, but that means they've specialized on dealing damage, not support.

^huh? what support, ME is crap, exhale blows, endows are for pvm, all we have left is Mist and ground skills.....hardly worth dubbing sorcerers support builds anymore so of coarse they're all damage builds

o and we forgot to include dragonolgy as well...
also if pwave is then amp'd from kafra boxes?...perhaps it isn't worth mixing pwave with DD/EG
