Default 10/14/2009 - 3-2 Jobs on Mains

Common Patch

- Because of the 3-2 update, for this week only Wednesday's war of emperium time has been moved to Thursday.

- Corrected an issue with the alchemist quest.

- NPCs that have level or job restrictions should now recognize 3-2 character classes.

- Updated some 3-2 skill specifications for main servers.

Main Servers

- All 7 of the 3-2 job classes are added (Royal Guard, Shadow Chaser, Sura, Minstrel, Wanderer, Genetic, Sorcerer).

* The job change quests begin at the following places.
  • Royal Guard: Prontera Castle
  • Shadow Chaser: Rogue Guild
  • Sura: Veins Pub
  • Minstrel: Alberta (1 o' clock direction)
  • Wanderer: Lutie (12 o' clock direction)
  • Genetic: Alchemist Guild
  • Sorcerer: Geffen Tower
- Added a stat and skill reset NPC. The NPC is free for first use, each additional use costs 100,000 zeny. For balance reasons the skill and status reset NPCs will be removed after two weeks.

- Some monster drops have been updated for items specific to 3-2 jobs.

- Monsters on the ra_fild01 map will now use the improved monster AI.

Sakray Test Server

- Corrected issues with Fiber Lock and Deadly Poison skills.

- Haloween Event has begun.

I'm willing to bet that soon there will be a flood of kRO players' complaints on how Shuras are OP. I'm not going to be surprised at all if they reach level 150 in a couple of days.

Well, here they go again. They already implemented 3-2. Comet still has no animation, skills are still buggy, some jobs are still not balanced... Oh well.

I wonder : does that mean that all Desert wolfes, baby desert wolfes, and Anopheles that not spawn on ra_fild01 still have the old AI?

I guess they implemented 3-2 classes so quickly since jRO wants to test them aswell and kRO mainserver players can also write bugreports/their opinions if 3-2 classes are on the mains.

Im also waiting for that... do remember that skills cant be implemented later on even if the characters are already in main servers. Like the original homunculus... =P

we shouldn't complain THAT much... look at sorcerers.. they are recolored sprites.. with a few skills >.> and they don't get their minions

Well, skills were balanced for the 3-1's when they were implemented on main servers, so...

...on the other hand, I can see any guild with soul linker recaller as being completely and utterly boned now. Sigh.

This may be just about the worst decision ever made to release extremely unbalanced, unfinished classes to the main servers.

What don't you guys understand? They're releasing them to the main servers so they can conduct further testing on a wider scale. Are you forgetting that they updated 3-1 classes' skills even after they were implemented? Quit bitchin >:[

I dare anyone say that sorcerers are not upgreaded wizards NOW.

I play kRO Baphomet.
I think the complain comes in because Gravity is Testing in P2P server.
Won't you complain if iRO started implementing completely unbalanced system to iRO Chaos or Valk and change formulas and everything on weekly basis?

Personally, I can see that this is the only option for gravity as most likely they will try to balance the game in October~early November, and try to get more ppl into the game when the Korean Univ entrance exam ends.
However, it does not mean that they should just patch something that just looked sooooooo unbalanced to test on ppl who actually pay.

but again, 3-1 aren't balanced to be honest. so whatever... I am glad that they are making some changes to EDP as it was just so unbalanced.

oh and one last thing, was Acid Demonstration & Asura Strike's bug fixed?

Well, I suposse that they can test changes an fixes more easily on main servers as (as I understand) almost no people used to play on sakray renewal. Still it seems to early to me to have 3-2 classes to hit main servers.

At least I expect a really huge list of balancing issues an d fixes.

mm. Not too sure whose in charge of making the game seem more believable ( lore and such) but they should be beaten or fired. There are so many places Genetics could have gone to become what they are; why just the same old Alchemists guild? Same for Dark Chaser, same old rogue guild. In my opinion they could have done much better. Although I guess, we're not as bad as Sorcerers; Geffen tower? =/
