- Corrected an issue that would allow you to re-enter sealed shrine with no time restraint. - Corrected an issue where the Genetic Skill "Blood Sucker" could be cast on the emperium. - Corrected an issue where the Wanderer/Minstrel skill "Call of Siren" would cause the emperium to move. - The Sorcerer skill "Cloud Kill" no longer poisons other players in town. - Fixed a bug where if a Sorcerer cast 'Striking' on a mercenary, it would crash the clients of all players on screen. - Corrected an issue where when using the ESC key to close a vending shop and then opening a new shop that sometimes the items from the old shop would appear on the list. - Added new art for the Genetic skill 'Thorn Trap'. - Performed re-balancing of skills for the Taekwon class tree. Taekwon Kid Skills
Taekwon Master SkillsBefore: Increases attack power by the number of party members on the current map.
Before:
Soul Linker SkillsAfter: While in the awakened state, you lose your natural recovery, and all healing effectiveness on the player is reduced to 1/4th the original value.
After: While the wizard spirit is active, when casting skills that don't consume gemstones, the SP cost and casting time of skills is increased by 50%. (Translation Note: Likely refers to skills that no longer cost a gemstone as a result of the link)
After: While the bard and dancer spirit is active, linked skills cost 50% more SP.
After: When an assassin is linked with the assassin spirit, the SP cost of sonic blow is doubled.
Main ServersAfter: When a soul linker uses the skill 'Kaite' while linked with the Soul Linker Spirit, it adds a 50% chance to reflect targeted magic, and does not reflect area of effect magic. Additionally, it increases the physical damage the target takes by 400%. - Added a Genetic/Sorcerer compensation NPC (lasts 1 week). - Added a +30% experience rate event for 2 weeks. - The netcafe experience bonus is increased by 20% for 2 weeks. - Corrected the net cafe exclusive cash item '4leaf clover in mouth' and 'chewing bubblegum' to reduce weight from 10 to 0. - Started the Halloween event. So Kaite on spouse and child work like it does normally right? And that is nerf is only on other players?
Hunter Spirit still sucks. No changes to Vacuum and DSL? Edit: Thanks for translations.

Currently waiting for this new favorite skill to be nerfed cause I just know Gravity will do so... Just watch as they make Firing stay on the field for 1s after it detonates!

Kihop not affecting skills anymore = heat nerf?
The Shadow of the Sun, Moon, and Stars-"nerf" is probably not a nerf but instead it gives +skillaspd% now (just like THQ in renewal : more aspd = higher aspd bonnus) instead of +equipaspd% (reduction of current aspd delay) now. I'm quite happy about kaite nerf, 50% chance to reflect target magic only and doesnt reflect aoe magic at all. Kaite will probably now used as offensive spell instead of defensive. I'm quite sad about the wizard link nerf but if kaite doesnt reflect aoe magic anymore i probably wont use wizard link anymore anyway.

So they nerfed the damage potential of the tk class since kihop bonus no longer applies to skills?
The union nerf is painful to heat tkms. About the kaite change: so it's only 50% chance to reflect now if used on others. How about if a non-linked linker used kaite on himself? Does it still only have a 50% chance of reflect or the old 100% reflect?

i dislike the nerf that they did to kihop because it sounds like they dont want TKs or tkms to be useful in a party now when we use skills?? would tks and tkms really be over powered by the kihop. Also i know that the aspd is different in renewal now but can the tkms still get 190 now or is it now no longer possible with this nerf ?? also you still have the loss of sight and so Im wonder if its going to far for just 11%. if anyone has any ideas i would great appreciate it if they could enlighten me with them thank you. The reason i ask is because my main is a tkm right now.

Gravity must be thinking like this: "Hm, we just implemented the 3rd cls completely... what to do next?... A right! Balancing! We should rebalance 3.2 cls, statuseffects, maybe reductionsystem,... I'm fairly certain that when they added renewal, Shadow became the new style aspd bonus, which would be ASPD + (agi/200)*Shadow Bonus. With the old bonus of 30%, it was basically instant 190 aspd for any build with a moderate amount of agi. The new formula is more balanced.
Union and Kihop also kind of needed a nerf. Wizard spirit change isn't really a big deal. Oh no, 50% longer variable cast on safety wall! Maybe it will increase cast time from 0.3s to 0.4s. There's not many widely used wizard skills that cost gems, so it doesn't change much. Kaite was always an offensive skill, but now the usage is a bit different. A non linked linker can still use it on himself the old style I think, its just when he's linked that it gets a different effect. The 50% chance to reflect actually makes it a lot harder to get rid of off yourself or allies (spamming heal to get rid of it, etc). The jRO forums suggest that this change will usher in a new age of MPK, not to mention make reflecting bosses even more broken. We'll have to see. |
