Other Classes: Dagger of Counter

Description on iRO Wiki and R.O.D.E. say 140 atk.
In game description on iRO Loki says 75 atk.


Was there a change, or has one of them always been incorrect?

The dagger gives +140atk.

I was asking about it for my Soul Linker, so I just assumed it would go here.

It WAS 75, but then updated to 140, but the description was never updated.
Same case in idRO, not sure what about the other legit servers.

Next question, not really related to the Dagger of Counter, but still relative since it is for the same character that is using this weapon...

Does Kihop affect Soul Linkers? Or does it become unusable like the kick skills and Sprint/Spurt status?

It affects every TK-branch class including Soul Linkers. Also: Spurt is usable w/ Soul Linker as well, just not with weapons.

It doesnt affect esma though right?

I've seen an Esma Linker asking for party members for Kihop... don't know if does though. The description sounds like it only affects ATK, not MATK. =|

Kihop affects only physical damage, not magic damage.
Anyway, Kihop does works on Linkers - in fact, that's how my Battle Linker can achive 1k+ crit damage xD

Yeah, but you'll have to have a 7+person party, and have to be fighting a Small size monster to get those 1k crits. (My Sin gets those solo, as long as it is weak to water, wind or earth. ) (I'm holding out hope for a good future trans or 3rd job class for Taekwon branch, where the auto heal/buff skills will really shine.)

I'm suprised how many people are turning me down for Kihop parties, while we're leveling on the same map.
An extra 20-30% dmg would be really nice while I'm leveling/farming.

Any tips on getting people to join a party for Kihop count?

Actually, you can get 1k even against Medium, provided there's enough party members and buffs
Not sure about Large, most of the good Large monsters especially the ones in New World, are too hard to handle for Battle Linkers.
I hope 3rd Class for Linkers gets offensive and defensive skills that are good to battle New World monsters....



People turns you down probably because they know Kihop works only on those with the skill, the other (including Taekwon class without the skill) didn't get any increase in physical damage. So basically, you're the only one that gets benefit from having a party with them....

I'm not sure how to make people join, though - I usually in a group only when they wanted me to join

Make a tons of novices and have them play dead on the map your leveling on. Problem solved.

Lol, thanks for the advice, buuuuuut... I don't really want to pay for 10 extra accounts, just so I can double my damage.
