Common Patch

- Corrected item effect of the Bradium Ring/Bradium Earing/Bradium Brooch being different from the description.

- Corrected a bug where you could avoid the cooldown time of the skill "Return to El Decastes" by uneqipping the item while casting.

- Corrected a bug where shadow chaser could use "Reproduce" to copy the following rune knight rune skills: Storm Blast, Crush Strike.

- Corrected a bug where when a shadow chaser uses "Reproduce" to copy chain lightening it would show up as Unknown Skill when cast.

- Fixed an issue where you could close an NPC dialog by pressing escape, and then moving would cause you to disconnect from the server.

Sakray Test Server

- When creating a god item, only a guild master who owns a castle can enter. (In order to test this the Aldebaran castle Neuschwanstein will be under the control of the RO GM team. The castle Neuschwanstein will have its entrance removed.)

I thought only guildleaders can make them.

Or does this "fix" fixes/changes something else?

It was possible to join guild dungeon, leave guild, create a new guild and then create godlike item. I guess they changed it, so you guild also need to have a castle.

Honestly, aren't you always complaining about this? Let them finish balancing 3rd classes and then you can complain about the faith of the expanded classes.

Nah, only every now and then. I'm complaining because it is quite stupid that we haven't even got a confirmation of their existance. I don't know what to do with my TKM, as now, since it will be useless without a third class or something similiar. I don't want the class now, but at least tell me if you're doing something for us. A simple "we're working on expanded third classes" would be enough, as well as a "they're shit, no one uses them, so we aren't doing anything". But just tell something to us.

They said in an interview that first they'll finish implementing and balancing the 3rd classes (some 3rd class stuff is still missing, like Homunculus S).
After they're done with that, they said, they'll see what they can do with expanded classes but for now the focus is on 3rd classes only.

I don't know about the first case but the second one is great especially because of that damned npc from Continental Guard Quest. Hope it hit the others servers soon.

You're right, but this changes an "exploit." (I put that in quotes because my guild's used it quite a few god items have been made this way on Loki alone. And yes, it's kosher under current rules - I'm pretty sure every major WoE guild has done this at least once, and I have no issues with this.)

Basically, you just have to be a guildmaster. So, the trick in current RO - and, again, this has been used in multiple guilds to create multiple items on Loki alone - is to have a non-guildleader character go into GD, leave guild there, create their own guild IN GD, and wait until all four seals release to make the item.

Advantage is - if Guild A knows that Guild B is close to an item and sets up so that they're in Realm X at the same time as Guild B, Guild B can just go to Guild C in Realm Y and make their item. So while Guild A is attempting to rape faces in Realm X, Guild B is off and safe making their item in Realm Y. (In theory. In practice, someone will figure out that Guild B is off in Y and at this point, the larger alliances will have castles EVERYWHERE anyway so Guild A will just temp in an allied guild to rape faces.)

Re: Expanded Thirds - Hey, it wouldn't be a patch notice without Don complaining commenting on expandeds - or lack thereof.

That said - call me biased, but I'm less worried about the thirds than the skill balancing. Maybe I'm impatient, but it just seems really slow - and the two classes that consensus seems to state NEED balancing the most (sorcerers and suras) haven't been done yet.

As for SCs...good, you fixed Reproduce bugs I didn't even know about nor really mattered. (Okay, the rune skills lulz. But really, was fixing it so that some dude in bell bottom jing-guai print pants and a feather boa (and NOTHING ELSE) actually yells out the correct name of a skill while he grabs his crotch that important?) Now tell me when you fix Invisibility. And I believe some of the Masquerades are busted.

OH YEAH AND WHILE WE'RE ON THAT, MAKE PIECE AND REMOVER ACTUALLY USEFUL IF THEY'RE A PREREQUISITE TO AN ENTIRE BRANCH OF THE SHADOW CHASER SKILL TREE HOW ABOUT THAT.

Nice Chaser bug fixes!!! Thanks Doddler for the translations.

If only they'd fix the other Chaser bugs as well like the disconnecting ASS bug...

iRO Valk: 74/45 lost motivation to level...

Currently waiting for this new favorite skill to be nerfed cause I just know Gravity will do so... Just watch as they make Firing stay on the field for 1s after it detonates!

Nahhh. I haven't been complaining for a month and half. Seeing how expanded classes were treated in those years, i can't trust Gravity. We already knew the names and some general informations about the other classes some months before they were implemented, but we still don't know anything about something for expanded classes. Hell, if they still don't know what to do, how can they implement new equips and features? They can't balance those items after their implementation in the main server, after all.
In short, it doesn't seem a serious approach, to me.

Just give up already. Most people that main expanded have given up by now. :/

It's not like it's THAT hard to make any other class as a secondary in case they ditch expanded classes anyways.

I`m thinking that Expanded classes can begin to expect only after march of 2010. Because there are not that much changes made to Sorcerers, Suras, Genetics and Shadow Chasers. So at very least all changes will be done after february of 2010.

Anyways these threads are about what has changed. From this point on, posts that are entirely complaining about what's not in the patch will be deleted, it's getting annoying. There's a place for that, and it's not here. There was just a huge update last week, and even then when there's a small patch people complain.
