Default Damage Reduction Question (PvP / WoE)

I'm wondering what is the final % damage reduction reduced by 2 different sets of gears:

1.
Cranial
Poo hat
Immune
Combat Knife

2.
Cranial
Poo
Immune

And in two different scenarios, being PvP and the other being WoE.

This is mostly regarding Asura Damage(And it being reduced in those two areas by %) where Def/Mdef and the other random stats don't affect the numbers of the damage.

Cranial, poo, and ck add together. raydric is separate from those.

1. (1 - 0.3 - 0.1 - 0.1)*(1 - 0.2) = 40% damage taken
2. (1 - 0.3 - 0.1)*(1 - 0.2) = 48% damage taken

Since in WoE damage from skills is reduced by 40% That would make it

1. 40% * (1 - 0.4) = 24%
2. 48% * (1 - 0.4) = 28.8%

I thought Combat Knife no longer gives reductions.

To sum it up,

different parameters [stacking each other] rules in damage modifier, but sucks in damage reduction.

same parameter [adding each other] sucks in damage modifier, but rules in damage reduction.
