Assassin Cross: 4x AK cards on +9-+10 spec jur

is this a good idea?

i wanna max the outcome of spending zeny on this AK cards

100%+ dmg on Boss type monster is overkill right?
anyone actually have this kind of equipment?

dont wanna use size modifier for the 4th slot. Just 4x AK Cards

I'm all for it, as long as you're hit/crit is high enough to hit the MvP.

Find someone to give you a endow when you need it, pop an EDP and swing away.

Should have better dmg than a quad The Paper specialty jur, for awhile.

I think crits get a natural 40% dmg bonus once Renewal comes out. So quad The Paper might do more damage then.

If you have the zeny for it, or already have the items; I'd say you'll have a pretty good weapon.

sadly now they count def in crits. that and lvl 1 weapons with lots of slots < lvl 2-4 with less.
so in renwal a +7~10 jur might do more unless they changed things again.
so ask around in there before throwing around that much zenny.

Quad 'The paper' will do more damage in renewal with crits, but it's not because of the 40% crit bonus; that actually makes the paper card worse (since it stacks additively with the 40% bonus, whereas AK card stacks multiplicatively). It's because AK card only modifies the damage from Weapon and equip attack (which with a spec jur is pretty low anyway) whereas the paper card affects the damage from your str as well.

AK card will be better for skills though of course.

Basically though, if you want to make a weapon that will hold it's value in renewal, you should probably do some more research (or ask in the right thread) in the renewal section. Specialty Jur probably won't be your weapon of choice in Renewal. (edit: like jaaster says).

actually if you look at damage calculations, (unless if you have some insanely high attack) a triple slicing +7 jur does more damage than a +10 quad slicing spec jur.

weapon level is more important in renewal right? so wouldnt a jur be better?

The weapon's base atk is more important in Renewal.

well base attack would be more important, but usually a 2 or 3 slotted L3+ weapon are the best. just get multiple sets of the elemental katars . and everyone get your slotted infil now while theyre cheaper
