Amber's Art Garden - Commissions now open!

Evenin' everyone! I'm new to iRO wiki so please be kind~
The name's Amber Rose and I'm a Sniper (formerly of the Loki server). I used to be in a guild called Well-Baked Cookies and while in that guild I started what I call the "Cookie Project". It was originally a project to draw all my fellow guild members in chibi form and then put them all together as a wallpaper... that didn't happen, as there were not only so many members but more were coming in all the time! Still, the experience gained from what I managed has been a big part of what I've become as an artist today - and while WBC has long since retired, the Cookie Project still lives on in me as I continue to draw my friends and myself to this day.

~COMMISSION INFORMATION~
~AND AVAILABILITY~

Thanks for your interest! Currently I am available for a limited amount of commissions. I have several different ways you can pay me, but please understand that cash is the preferred method of payment, therefore it will be the cheapest form of payment.
You can see perfect examples of what I do below. Currently I am only offering chibi-styled characters (I may change this in the future if there's a demand for it).

Previously Completed:
sarasaurus: High Priest and Minstrel
suzuru: Stalker, Mastersmith, Scholar
ShadowAxe: Taekwon girl, High Priest and Zombie Prisoner
Heal Tee: High Priest, High Wizard

One character - $20 or 2,000DA points each
- This includes one (1) chibi styled full color character and several small props if you so choose (ex. potions, hats, weapons, falcons, small and stylized monsters/pokemon, smaller cute pets, basically anything small and simple that the character can wear or interact with)
- This does not include a background. You will receive two plain background versions (one with black lines, the other with colored lines), and two transparent background versions (one with black lines, the other with colored lines).

Large Props - +$5 or 400DA points each
- Large props consist of Peco Pecos, Wargs, elaborate pushcarts, larger, more detailed weapons, larger monsters (no bigger then the character), larger cute pets (Sohee, Munak, etc.) and anything else along those lines. Basically anything as big as the character.

Q: How do you accept cash payments?
A: Through Paypal. I will send a payment request to your e-mail when you're ready to seal the deal~

Q: What are DA points?
A: DA stands for DeviantART. They have a points system available (you can buy points with cash, win them in contests, trade llama badges for them, etc). This method of payment is really only available to members of DeviantART, but I thought it'd throw the option out there.

Q: Why are zeny commissions so limited and expensive?!/What happened to the zeny commissions?!
A: I don't really need zeny right now. :< When there comes a time that I do need it I may lower the price, but right now I just don't. I do understand that not everyone can afford to pay real money and they may still want to commission me, so I have left a slot open for those people. Please don't be upset~ It's just to encourage more cash payments! UPDATE: Right now I am barely playing RO, so working for zeny is a bit silly... Maybe I'll open it up again in the future. Sorry everyone!

Q: How long will it take to receive my picture?
A: At best a few days, depending on if:
- your turn has come up (if in a waiting list)
- if I've gotten all the information I need from you (character reference, prop details)
- if I've received payment (I can show you the rough or finished sketch if you like before then)
If I am busy with real life then it may take longer, but I will notify you if this happens.

Q: Do you accept art trades/item trades/sexual favors/other trades?
A: Art trades depend on my mood, usually no. Item trades are a possibility since I haven't played in a long time and there are many hats I don't have, but you'll have to ask (and please don't beg...). Sexual favors? Pics first pls lol (kidding~). So in general, mostly no.

Q: Will you draw me hentai pls?~
A: Sorry, but no. :P While I enjoy drawing boobs, please don't ask me to portray any nudity. Keep your requests PG-13!

Q: Why don't you draw backgrounds?
A: To be honest I'm not very good at them, or rather I'm not very good at doing them FAST. I've tried to make my commission process as speedy and cheap as possible so that people don't end up waiting weeks upon weeks for what they want and they won't have to pay too much for it.

Q: Can you draw me a regular sized person (non-chibi/super deformed)?
A: At this time, no. Again, it's all about making it a speedy, satisfying process for all. Maybe in the future.

Q: Can I request a non-RO related character/have my character in a different outfit?
A: Sure! As long as you can provide a good description (or better yet good reference!) of what you want I should be able to oblige. If it's something I don't think I can do though I'll be sure to let you know.

Agreed with everyone else! Your chibis are adorable! I love the summer theme of your project. As far as recent ones go, I really love the ranger one

Yeah, I have a thread on the iRO forums - but it's so dead there! :< It's kind of sad... But then I followed (I think Minyi's?) work to the iRO wiki forums (which I had totally forgotten about x_x) and saw so many people here that I wanted to join in the fun.

Your name sounds familiar... Hm. ^^; Anyway, thanks. Those summer swimsuit-themed ones were originally done for that T-shirt contest that RO had last year, but then I found out you could only use 8 colors or something and I fail at vector, etc, etc so only mine ended up being submitted and it was lousy looking compared to this one. I did the rest for my friends just because. ^^

haha it's 'cause i was in defiance when you were in wbc, WE WERE ALLIES OKAY. 8D i think my only character back then was my sniper, whose name is antimony. D: eta: oh, and i think we made alchemists or biochems or something around the same time, 'cause i remember having a screenshot from alde baran of me, you, and some other person when we all evolved our homunculi around the same time.

if you're still actively playing and you have time to draw stuff, you should open zeny commissions! or cash commissions otherwise...your stuff is so cute. I NEED MORE OF IT IN MY LIFE. ):

Ahhh so you were there? I can't forget that moment. XD It was awesome. Sadly though I'm bad with screenshots. >_> I'll take them and then forget all about 'em.

If there's enough of an interest in commissions I'd love to put that option out there. I'm TRYING to play RO again (my account is messed up from the server merge, and I hadn't been playing for a long time) so it'll be awhile yet, but I could always use a few dollars~ Since they're chibis I wouldn't charge very much (that isn't to say they don't take quite awhile to do, usually the better part of a day per character, but it's still not as bad as doing a full page drawing with full background x_x).

If anyone else is interested let me know.

Oh it's not that I don't LIKE Wargs, I just don't like DRAWING them. XD; I'm still trying to figure out their anatomy while also trying to figure out a way to make them fit with the other chibis (realistic giant fat wolf with chubby cute blush blush desu ranger girl is just errrrr XD).

Since my account is currently in a funk (it'll probably take a few days to get it all sorted out with the GMs) zeny purchases are kind of out of the question atm. ^^; Once it's all done though maybe I can figure something out~

Thanks :3 It was fun being creative with RO monsters as floaties. XD I'd love to do some more someday~

By the way, is there a way to add an avatar and signature to my account here? Or do I have to make a certain number of posts? I'm feeling rather anonymous :P

To add an avatar/signature, I believe it's in User CP at the top, and there should be links along the side from there to upload or enter in a URL for your avatar and then a place to type in your signature.

haha click on user CP at the top left and on the left sidebar there should be an area to edit your signature. i forget how to change your avatar but it should be in the cp too! probably under profile or something
