Default Dragon Breath --Again.

Alright so I have another question regarding this skill. This time it's more based around equipment.

Currently my 105 RK has 29.6k Hp and 1k SP. (The only SP based gear I have is my NYD)

I walk around Jup and I notice other RK's hitting for 1-1.5-2k more damage than me with Dbreath, and when I ask. They all reply that they have 300-500 more SP than I . Some have Bryn, Carat, Incubus card. Things of that nature. (Also I only have 77 based Int, pumping it till I get 100 buffed)

So my question is as follows. At higher levels, when i'll have say.. 50-60k HP (going strong VIT build) and 1.6-1.8k SP. Will I be able to keep up Dbreath damage wise as apose to those people who currently have Carat cards and incubus. I mean how much more damage does Dbreath do with an extra 300-400 SP? Is it enough to have to re-equip your RK? (Currently most of my gear is based around HP, Diablo Ares. Thing of that nature.)

So in short. At higher levels, will player's with the extra 400-600 ish SP always do a lot more damage than me? Or is the majority of Dbreath's damage HP based like im thinking??

PS- Im going 120 + Vit.

PPS- Thanks for reading my post.

Doesn't it also depend on your base level? So the higher you go even if you don't add int/vit you'll still be gaining damage

It seems (from the RK discussion) that each point of SP is about 2 damage. So someone with 500 more SP should do 1000 more damage. You will always have this gap if your build is the same and they just have better SP gears.

Base level increases HP/SP, so yes it helps.

Well currently as I said, im leveling in Juperos. With 29.6k HP and 1k SP. I hit (Weak to) DB mobs for 11-ish k , The blue ones (resistant) for about 5.2-ish k, and the normal ones for 7k-ish.

However I only have dragon mastery 4 currently, so another level is 5% more damage.

Can we get a confirm/deny on 1 sp = 2 damage? Give or take?

If so, that'll put things into a much easier way of calculation. (Cause currently yes, I notice the damage difference between myself and someone in SP gear. However when we're 140+ , Im sure a 1k-1.5k damage difference is almost non-existant.)

Why not just do DB with and without a Clip[1] ona bunch of non-weak mobs to test?

mmm, for some reason i thought DB would be suicide type dmg like GX poisons, so can DB be useful during lvling as well?

doddler's proposed db formula is

{(CurrentHP*0.016)+(MaxSP*0.192)} * SkillLv * Base/100 * ElementMod

if dragon training increases it then I suppose it'd fit somewhere in there too, but I haven't kept up lately to know how the formula has changed. However, kRO's RKs just had their base HP decreased, so it might be important to know if it happens to iRO.

^ Makes sense.
Dragon Training doesn't really add a lot, but off that I'd say...
Maestro Top Head
Fatasm Elvens
Diabolus Armor (Peco Peco? lol) / Brynhild / Glorious Suit
Moonlight Dagger or Gelendria
Bradium Shield
+x Nidhoggr Shadow Garb
Variants
2x Diabolus Ring / Medals?

Would be your ideal gear set, were there any confusion there.

aren't Medals better than Drings for boosting Dragon Breath damage?

also it looks like Valk Armor is just as good as Diabolus for that same purpose.

http://calcxre.wushuang.ws/?caVcAaYa...aaacuaaaaHaaav
this is my db build
only reasonable equips that i already have/can get soon
few things to improve: 2 bris, sleips, maestro/incubus cowboy hat
unless you feel like making your dring spore, i wouldnt use them
i also rather have triple vital knife than monnie dagger. the damage is not that different and youll survive more.

of course this is all considering the patch till now, as it seems todays patch will nerf rks hp?
posted on rk thread
also with todays patch, rks lost around 10k hp
huge nerf to db damage
