Default Cart Canon?

This skill seems to be really popular for leveling now. I looked in the skill complication but there isn't much info about it.

  • What would be the best weapon for it?
  • Is it long range?
  • Does Skel Archer card affect it?

It is ranged, I believe I did mention the cast range for the skill in the compilation
Best Weapon is anything that contributes to high atk, %racial/size cards work.
Skel Archer cards does not work.

This is a bit of an older formula so it might not be correct, but the damage formula is:

Atk(%) = 350 + SkillLv*50 + RemodelingLv * Int/2

So highest attack gear you can get with lots of int will be best. If you're working out the math yourself don't forget to include the attack power of the cannon balls themselves, they're pretty huge.

Say you have 150+332atk (Hurricane Fury w/ 100 str), and iron cannon ball. If you work that out it's about 1048 attack power. Lets say you have 150 int total, which gives you... 975%. That would be 10218 damage abouts?

Are you sure archer skeleton cards don't work? On the iRO forums Azzy said that they worked with Acid Bomb, so I would assume they'd work on cart cannon since it's a ranged physical attack.

I went and tested it on kRO Sakray and it didn't seem to affect the damage.

^Was just discussing that in the Genetic thread. Ghost property cannonballs are essentially useless in pvm, since the skill is apparently forced neutral.

It is forced neutral, but its damage is still increased by elemental advantages, like rapid smiting. It really only means it acts like its NOT forced neutral unless used against ghost property.

I'd rather use iron cannonballs, and use cursed waters. Its like a 3k damage difference (with mace and megs).

ignores defense, ignores flee, ignores racial reductions, it can be boosted with proper endow, has no fixed cast time, has no delay, its a ranged AoE...

the only thing it does NOT ignore is ghostring and asprika.

So yes, I'd say its pretty OP. lol

a genetic in guild was pretty much spamming it at near instant cast on people in pvp for about 17k
