This is the Ragnarok Online 2 Gravity Co. Management Team.

Greetings to the adventurers celebrating the new 2011 rabbit year.

Have you been doing well in this cold weather?! ^_^

We are announcing joyous news to those who have waited for Ragnarok Online 2 all this time.

After the end of the 1st Closed Beta, we've reflected upon the opinions of the adventurers through the RO2 homepage
and made various improvements and changes in character design, UI, game system, etc.

Following the changes, Ragnarok Online 2 has decided to proceed with a customer satisfaction test called "R Care Test" in order to
re-evaluate the direction of the developments for the 1st CBT adventurers who have given us many suggestions.

R Care Test time and date are as follows:

January 25th~28th, 2011 (4 days)

▶Testing Time
18:00~23:00

and apologize to those who could not participate in the R Care Test due to limited number of participants.

R Care Test Tips!
Note: Changed "Life Jobs" to "Professions" in the translations; will keep this from now on.

Spoiler Alert:

TL;DR:

• Harvestable/Mineable targets will sparkle and change cursor on mouseover.
• Minerals and herbs are categorized to common, normal, and rare, but you can only tell the difference by mousing over.
• Dead monsters can be harvested for meat after looting, but not all monsters can be harvested.
• Mr.Mjolnir has common minerals and herbs, and Prontera field has normal/rare minerals and herbs.
• Harvestable and manufacturable items for professions have changed.
• You can right-click other players' info for easy access to request party/trade or use commands.
• You can press a button on the upperleft screen while in a party to access party info. Party members' infos show in the left.

• Starting points for each job has changed. Archer/Swordie: Knights camp, acolyte: Odin Orthodox Church, Thieves: Thief guild, mages: magician's guild
• Minerals and herbs are categorized to common, normal, and rare, but you can only tell the difference by mousing over.
• New NPCs added in starting towns, Armin and Normin town.
• World Map feature allows you to locate NPCs and look at quest infos.
• UI can now be manually positioned or have its default location changed (upperleft or center of screen.)
  

That's Jan. 25 2am-7am for me. Hopefully there are no connection issues this time! Definitely looking forward to this.

hmm looks like I'll only be able to play on friday. Got classes Monday through Thursday. :s

Hopefully by then, all the login issues and server stability issues that are sure to come from this will be worked out.

Wait. What would be the difference between 1st come 1st serve, and free looting? Shouldn't one of them be shared or something

The translation thing works fine, not great, cause some text, like the graphics options and some items, don't have text at all

hm I think 1st one is the one where whoever kills it gets it and free looting is anyone can pick up?
