Default Malangdo enchant system

so, no1 here seems to really know abt this that much.
i'll list wut u can get and briefly how it works.

but, b4 i start...
1. THIS IS FROM korean RO - what they actually have and how they do it..
2. this is all about ur real money. a lot of kafra points r gonna b used.
there is no way in hell, at least in kRO, for u to use malangdo enchant
just by playing games.
3. might not be 100% right. however, i can say this is 98% accurate.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
simple, u get this thing called 'COINS' and u talk to some npc / machine
to enchant.
goes from Grade E coins, D coins, C, B, A, then Godlike coins.

and wut kRO users do is that, they will purchase some kafra item called
'gaedarae yulmae' and using some sorta coin exchange machine at malangdo to get 26~30 grade A coins.

HOW TO GET THOSE COINS?
as far as i know, theres a malangdo in-game dungeon mission to get coins.
however, seems like that only gives you E coins - the worst kind.
and there are 2 kinds of missions - easy n hard.

EASY mission is abt getting rid of like 40 something thats all over the dungeon in time. so.. yeh, a lot of moving around.

HARD mission is.... im not quite sure abt this. but its basically the same,
but a lot of high lvl mobs spawn around your objectives.

and u can exchange low lvl coins to a few higher ones.
dunno the rate and the npc charges you some fee.
this applies to low lvl -> high lvl AND 'gaedare yulmae' -> A coins.
oh and the fee isnt zeny, its coins.

there are also some daily quests and one time quests for coins - of course E coins.

WHAT ELSE WITH THOSE COINS?
u can borrow gears w those coins. some r time limited and some r indefinite it seems like.

k enough w the basics.

WHAT DOES MALANGDO ENCHANT GIVE?
(i just named these myself cuz its in korean and i dunno wut they r)
name - effect

aspd - aspd

Magic atk lvl 1 - MATK+1%, reduced fixed casting time 1%
Magic atk lvl 2 - MATK+2%, r. f. c. t. 1%
Magic atk lvl 3 - MATK+3%, r. f. c. t. 1%

Mana lvl 1 - MATK+6, **reduced non-fixed casting time 4%
Mana lvl 2 - MATK+9, r. 6%
Mana lvl 3 - MATK+12, r. 8%
Mana lvl 4 - MATK+15, r. 10%
Mana lvl 5 - MATK+18, r. 10%
Mana lvl 6 - MATK+21, r. 10%

Accuracy lvl 1 - ranged p. atk 2% inc
A lvl 2 - 4%
A lvl 3 - 6%
A lvl 4 - 8%
A lvl 5 - 10%
A lvl 6 - 12%

Sin lvl 1 - cri+6, hit+2
Sin lvl 2 - cri+9, hit+3
Sin lvl 3 - cri+6, hit +2 <- dunno why its like this
Sin lvl 4 - cri+14, hit+5
Sin lvl 5 - cri+15, hit+4

F lvl 1 - atk+6, hit+2
F lvl 2 - atk+9,hit+3
F lvl 3 - atk+12, hit+4
F lvl 4 - 15, 5
F lvl 5 - 18, 5
F lvl 6 - 21, 5
F lvl 7 - 24, 5
F lvl 8 - 27, 5
F lvl 9 - 30, 5

** it stacks, but reduced fixed casting doesnt stack.

CONNECT ABOVE INFO TO COINS
Each time u enchant, u get two options from below.
so... i.e. Grade A coins for Hurricane Fury can have str 4 AND str 5, or str 4 AND F lvl 5. etc etc.

God coins for MELEE -> F lvl 3 ~9, Sin lvl 2~5, aspd1, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS
for ranged -> Accuracy lvl 3~6, Sin lvl 2~5, aspd1, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS
for caster type -> Int 4~7, Mana lvl 4~6, Magic atk lvl 2~3, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS

A coins for MELEE -> Str 4~5, Agi 4~5, F lvl 2~5, aspd1, Sin lvl 2~3, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS
for ranged -> Agi 4~5, Dex 4~5, Accuracy lvl 3~5, aspd1, Sin 2~3, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS
for caster -> Dex4~5, Int 4~5, Magic atk lvl 2~3, Mana lvl 1~4, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS

B coins -> aspd1, Dex 3~4, Magic atk lvl 1~2, Mana lvl 1~3, Accuracy lvl 3~4, Agi 3~4, Int 3~4, Sin lvl 1,
F lvl 1~4, Str 3~4, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS

C coins -> aspd1, Dex 2~3, Magic atk lvl 1, Mana lvl 1~2, Accuracy lvl 2~3,
Int 2~3, Sin 1, Cri7, F lvl 1~3, Dodge12, Str2~3, Hp400, SP150, Sp50, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS

D coins -> Dex 1~2, Magic Atk lvl 1, Accuracy lvl 1~2, Agi1~2, Atk 1~3,
Int 1~2, Cri5, F lvl 1~2, Dodge6, Str1~2, Hp100, Hp200, Sp100, Sp50, *some card, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS

E coins ->Dex1, magic def 2, magic def 4, magic def 6, magic def 8, Accuracy lvl 1,
Vit 1, Def 3, def 6, def 9, Agi 1, Atk 1~2, Int1, Cri5, F lvl 1, Dodge6, Str1, Hp100, Sp50, *some card, YOUR ITEM DISAPPEARS

*again, its in korean... so i dunno wut this is. its not random, so dont expect too much.

brief example of wut kRO users like to enchant:
agi 8~10 ice pick (abt 50,000,000 zeny it seems)
Accuracy lvl 8~10 hunting spear for Lord Knights
High lvl Mana Bazerald for caster Shadow chasers
High lvl F Hurricane Fury for Axe tornado dmg.

so... Agi 10 +0 Ice Pick >>>>>>>>>>>>>> +10 Ice Pick
yeh thats how it is in kRO.
good malangdo enchant >>>>>>>> +20 of anything.

CONCLUSION
so yeh, i saw this one thread talking abt how useless stat enchant is right now. and i figured i might shed some light. hope it did.
dunno when its coming out, so wait for it.

HOWEVER, i'd much rather have kRO's reset npc that only costs 200,000 zeny to reset BOTH stats and skills. fck our current reset system.
i guess once malangdo comes out, theyll be getting so much cash, they will put out kRO's reset npc.

Anyway, good stuff.

Can you enchant only weapons? Isn't there some stuff to use on other gear too?

only weapons.
but u can extract a card that u already used on ur shoes or armors.
when u extract, one of the following can happen
1. ur card gets destroyed
2. ur gear gets destroyed
3. both get destroyed

Patch notes last year mentioned its restricted to certain weapons, and im guessing like the current enchant system you wont be able to enchant a lot of socket enchant slotted gears like how you can enchant ninja suit or mage coat but not the [1] versions. If its open to anything thats flagged as L4 though, then awesome.

Prontera armor enchanter allows you to keep trying and overwriting the existing enchant until it breaks. Can you do the same with the Malangdo enchanter or does it require new items each time?

and kRO's sakray is different. they copy their main servers' characters to
sakray server. i heard that ours is just 'click, bam!, and lvl150.'
kRO copies / transfers characters, but cannot copy /transfer items.
i know for fact that kRO's main servers have the reset npc, but dunno
if sakray has one or not. my guess is they do have one, but not sure.

2. it overwrites all of them. so if u got AGi +5 and aspd 1, next time u enchant, both of them will b overwritten. u cant keep AGI+5 and only enchant aspd 1 again.
each enchant = 2 stats and can be the same stat (i.e. agi+5, agi+5)

it should get rid of the upgrades, that's what always happens in enchant, you have your item taken away from you and you are given a new one.

Is there a list somewhere of what weapons can be used with this like the current slot enchant/enchanting systems, or is it completely open to any (which i highly doubt) level 4 weapons?

That'd be a grand step to quickly outdating the current +9 KVM weapons if it was any L4 lol.

1. it removes everything. +20 will be +0 w malangdo enchants.
and if u tried to enchant, but failed, then ur item gets destroyed.
there is a kafra item that u can use when u enchant, and i heard that
it almost nver breaks. so like theres this maybe 0.01% chance of failing when u use the kafra item.

2. i'll look around. but malangdo enchant npc shows all the possible
items u can enchant and wut u can enchant.
i'll try to find it, but dont expect too much.

oh ok a different question maybe. Does the NPC itself give you a list of items/categories or is it more like the "buy" shop interface where you choose something in your inventory?

I'm just worried Grav will get lazy and not update it as new items get released (like pretty much every other mini-game).

Unless they changed the system from when it was in the Sakray test server (I see nothing in the patch notes that indicates that they did), there is no specific set of enchant based on weapon. I have made plenty of useless Bows with magic. I have also made Kransaya's with Range upgrade (Boy did CS with those hurt).

I can't really give you a full list but here are some enchants that are in the game (dunno if the system uses all of these)

i dont rly understand wut ur asking, so i'll just write wut i know.

there is no "buy" or wutever it is.
u bring wutever weapon u wanna enchant and coins.
the npc will show wut weapons can be enchanted and wut stats can be enchanted.
(this is merely letting u know wut u can expect when u enchant,
u dont really know wut stats u r gonna get.)

then u choose which weapon to enchant and get ready to either..
1. punch ur monitor and curse gravity furiously
2. cry cuz ur so happy

and i believe ur other request has been fulfilled by doddler.
i saw 'every lvl 4 weapons' so i believe u dont rly need a list.

I don't really remember I did this a LONG time ago and I didn't take screens of all the results. Also your "crit lvl 3" is +12 crit +4 hit not +6 crit and +2 hit.

it'd be good to see a list someplace to see if theres any other exceptions, and what L2/3 weapons are included. If the iterface is similar to slotting/enchanting there could be a few.

Range +40% rudra might be decent but even then they all seem inferior to elven bow or orc archer bow.

Most of the bows are for hunter-types too, leave little for performers, who are restricted to leveling with bows in renewal
