Overview
Gunslingers are renowned for their extremely high ASPD and HIT using Guns. Though unable to equip Shields, their ability to deal significantly large amounts of damage make them ideal combatants to hit-lock monsters in the battlefield. Growing up in polluted Einbroch in the Republic of Schwartzvald, they are able to further increase their HIT to deal single and area of effect damages.
Gunslingers rely on high DEX to deal enormous damage to monsters. Their skills in wielding guns can decimate the strongest enemies.
Job Change Guide
- Once you are Job Level 10, go to Einbroch Tower at the middle of Einbroch Einbroch134199.
- Then, follow the Gunslinger Job Change Guide for information.
Renewal Builds
I. PISTOL
a. GAMEPLAY:
This build relies on extremely high ASPD from Pistol and then using Chain Action to attach twice per hit. Increasing AGI and DEX is sufficient to kill well even in higher levels. Using Last Stand is a great strategy to temporarily boost ATK and Tracking and Wounding Shot to single target high damage.
b. STATS:
Base level 40 base status distribution suggestion. You may allocate certain status points depending on your preference but the idea is to focus on increasing DEX and INT statuses as they increase your overall damage and ASPD.
- STR: 1

- VIT: 1
- INT: 1
- DEX: 54
- LUK: 1
II. DESPERADO
a. GAMEPLAY:

III. CRIT SPAM
a. GAMEPLAY:
This build focuses on increasing CRIT because critical hits do 40% more damage than normal hits. A useful weapon at level 70 is the Lever Action Rifle [2] with 2x Drosera Card. Each point on CRIT is a percent, which means, 60 CRIT means 60% chance to land a critical hit.
b. STATS:
Base level 40 base status distribution suggestion. You may allocate certain status points depending on your preference but the idea is to focus on increasing DEX and AGI statuses as they increase your overall damage and ASPD. It is not necessary to put any points on LUK to increase CRIT since most of increase in CRIT will come from equipment.

- DEX: 54

IV. GRENADE LAUNCHER

III. General Weapon Recommendations
Gunslingers can use five different types of guns in order to attack and defeat their enemies. While any Gunslinger can use any type of gun, only certain skills can be used with each type of gun available. All guns are two-handed, so Gunslingers can't make use of shields unless they remove their weapon.
Weapons
See the Gun page for more detailed info.
Normally the defacto weapon for Gunslingers, the pistol allows for faster base attack speed at a cost of lower HIT and ATK.
Rifles are stronger than pistols and can come with HIT and CRIT bonuses. However, they are slower (ranking behind Gatling Guns) and are limited in the skills they can work with. To make up for this, the skills that can be performed with a Rifle deal extra damage, compared to when using a Pistol.
These electro-mechanical weapons are nearly the same in comparison to pistols, slightly slower but offering no loss of Attack Speed. Gatling Guns are centered around auto attacking, its specialized skills focusing on raising attack and attack speed.
Shotguns are powerful, pump action weapons that provide splash damage on normal attacks, but at the cost of a very slow attack speed.
These monsters pack some of the highest base attack in the game, and allow the use of elemental bullets called "spheres". They have the slowest attack speed of all guns, but they have a chance to break armor at close range.

Gunslingers can only wear armor that states that it can be worn by all, or all except Novice. With Battlegrounds, Gunslingers also get exclusive use of the following:
